See what our customers say about their experiences
It's a pleasant stay here. All the staff here is very friendly. Attend to you fast. Am staying in single room. Very comfort and cosy room.
If you are used to the kind of service at Mt E, then this place would be a great disappointment. To begin, service at registration feels very transactional, staff were not very friendly/welcoming. There were not butler who would direct you to the ward from the level 2 service desk. Had to do a second admission paperwork once we reach the level 10 inpatient wards. Staff at this registration was also not smiling/welcoming. Room lacked basic things like coffee and tea. Nurses are ok but not the most attentive. They forgot about our lunch and only served 1.5h later (after we asked). 2 stars for the relatively new facilities and pleasant environment (view from the ward is great).
Very good environment for any patient and a vacation.
Please read their reviews before coming! Other reviewers were right! If I could I would give them 0 stars!Regretted coming to this hospital, long wait rude staff and the Indian doctor I saw was extremely unprofessional and rude making some dumb comments he thought was funny. Avoid at all cost!
Went yesterday to the emergency for a minor health issue. I was expecting long wait and bad service from the reviews I read. But actually it was the opposite: very efficient staff, good organisation, everyone was kind, the doctor was also very good. They gave me the documents for my travel insurance and my pills straight away and the whole thing only took like 1 hour!
It was my first serious injury. Was worried when first saw such badly fractured & deformed hand. Thankful to have operations done by very careful & meticulous hand surgeon Dr.Andrew Yam who identified respective bones & ligaments problems precisely. Am amazed at how well the operations were done. The hospital team was very caring & supportive too. Also, the good soundproof flooring enhances quietness, so patients in the cosy rooms are not disturbed by footsteps n trolley noises. Truly grateful.
The hospital is highly recommendable. The facilities are very impressive and very clean.I was attended by Dr Paul Mok and Anesthesiologist Dr. Longathan Suresh Babu. The nurses were so kind and very caring namely Ryan, Patma, Vanessa, Anna, Corazon and Marnel. I will not forget the beautiful Butler Marianne. All the nurses in chage in operating room, were so bubbly and nice that a patient like me will not really feel anxious .Keep it up the good services and more power to everyone and to.the management.🌷
They are all what they never say, compiant aganist them and they twist their words.
I went there in the middle of the night for a small emergency. No other patients were there, so I literally had two nurses and one doctor attending to just me, that's a luxury. I came out of the place in under 2 hours and had the time to see the doctor two times, do an X-Ray and get the results, receive treatment and remain in observation until things got better. It's a record. I went there with the fear to get admitted and almost came out with the regret not to have been! I'm kidding, but you get the idea :) Great team, caring and knowledgeable. I read other reviewers reporting that the staff pushes you to carry invasive treatments. For me it was the exact opposite, and they knew I had a very good insurance and a night in the hospital would have been more than justified. Instead, they gave me a very conservative treatment and some very sensible advice in the case things wouldn't get better (things did get better). Thanks to the emergency team again then, if I could give you 10 stars I would.
Quiet, soothing and healing
4 bedded has no tv. Hospital is V E R Y quiet.
I do not feel that the doctors at the 24 A&E Clinic has the patient's best interest at heart. They tend to pressure the patient into making impulsive decisions by manipulating the injured patient's fragile emotions during the medical consultation, instilling fear by magnifying the severity of the injury and the consequences of not obeying their recommendations for a much more expensive treatment just because they realize you are covered with insurance although such expensive treatments may not be necessary at the moment. I am very disappointed that the medical doctors in this hospital are treating their patients in this manner.
I had a cut to my finger and I went to find the hospital emergency room and find nothing.
Excellent service if you are going for a surgery. Great experience for my mother. It's a 5 star hotel. Very new for now.Comparable to other private hospitals.Great location in terms of public transport.Just lack of chinese food.
Terrible hospital.. DO NOT GO THERE..
The doctors at this emergency clinic focuses only on how to squeeze money from you, and not on treating you. This should be the last place to go to, and only if all other clinics in Singapore have shut down forever.
Visited their 24hr Emergency Clinic for an ear infection. Very efficient, saw nurse and doctor and in and out in 45 minutes. Around 8 people waiting at the time, everyone else was processed quickly as well.
As I was sick I went to Farrer Park emergency to get myself pampered and an M.C. HOwever, their service is rude and the doctor refuse to give me MC.
This is a full service hospital that is new and still unknown to many of our visitors. It may be relatively small in size considering the limited plot of land granted, that doesn't make it a lesser hospital that provides full range of medical and healthcare services. If you want to receive treatment and enjoy unparalleled nursing attention, this is THE ideal place to come before it gets crowded like any other more familiar hospitals. We have super wonderful experience both in ICU and Inpatient Suite (general ward) as a patient and as the patient's spouse. Sweet memories!
Don't go to the emergency clinic. While there's no queue, the service is bad and they are way too laid back to the point of negligence.I had to explain my condition 5 times for the nurse to understand what I needed. Best yet, she reported the wrong dosage of my drugs to the doctor -- precisely the drugs that I had gone to check for a serious reaction to.And as if that wasn't bad enough the doctor had a serious attitude problem. I explained to him why I needed an urgent blood test and he laughs in my face and waves me off like I'm some hypochondriac. Then when I went get my blood tested, he runs after me and starts asking more questions (presumably because he googled and realized it's a very possible and serious condition that I'm worried about). Meanwhile, the only thing the receptionists and nurses talk about is money. While registering, the first thing they asked was if I'm willing to pay S$96 for consultation (not even ask for my ID Card first!). And before the nurse drew my blood, he again ask me if I am okay with the blood test cost. It's a plausible life/death situation -- do you really think I won't pay a measly S$50 for a blood test?!So please don't go. I had MUCH better care at the emergency ward at the general hospitals.
It's a very conveniently located hospital, being connected with Farrer Park MRT station. It's also a very new hospital, with its suite of medical clinics and specialists who have since set up shop here. Wouldn't consider it the best hospitals in Singapore, in the midst of all other legacy-named private hospitals. Personally my ear nose throat doctor is here, and my family and I have been visiting him for the longest time now. Besides that, my guess is as good as yours!
Great hospital, no waiting for Emergency Room. The overnight facilities are excellent.
They all did not give me MC when I had a strong headache, what a waste of time, polyclinics are much better and useful.
Should have read the reviews on this place before coming here. Absolutely horrible hospital, clinic was empty but made to wait to see the doctor even though they were not doing anything. The price is crazy expensive for their level of service, it is alright if they are good but totally not worth the sub standard service.
Way below average ...
So inhumane, those whom are clever will never take their alimens there. They repress their patients and their porters.
I went to the 24 hour clinc as a have irritable bowel syndrome and they do not even care that I queue there feeling lost and the security treats me like an intruder.
When I go to the outpatient to get an MC as I got depression and diarrhea, the nurse and housekeeper scolded me asking whether I got money or not.
I was admitted to this excellent hospital last week. Service from the admission, Diagnostic Imaging to the ward was second to none. The staff from doctors, nurses to porters were patient, assuring and caring... keep up the great work!!
For foreigner don't come her especially for indonesian. This is just profit oriented company. They just want your money. You didn't get well you only get broke.
I was recently admitted to this hospital for a very bad case of influenza b. Admission was fast and efficient. The drs and nurses took very good care of me and made sure I took my medicine and meals. I hardly ate due to my illness but the staff who delivered my meals even helped to reheat my meal. Drs and nurses were attentive and the whole place is new and modern. I could see the fireworks outside my hospital bed even. I would highly recommend this place although i am pretty sure many of the review here seemed fake. All complaining with no exact details, photos or even examples.
Good hospital, this hospital is good at finding fault with those whom are new working there.I regret stopping my work as an auxillary police to work there. I actually must be an auxillary police for 5 five years.
I have been to Singapore for a week. I lost my physical condition and went on an emergency in the middle of the night. I did not speak English at all and in the case of emergency I was accompanied by my husband and interpreted. After that, I was hospitalized immediately, but I was just anxious enough to speak English. But nurses and doctors explained and treated with mobile translation apps. You can choose your favorite menu with a tablet during hospitalization. Amenity for hospitalization was saved and was saved. The room was spacious and the room smelled clean and nice without any peculiar smell like Japan. It was hospitalization for 2 nights, but was somehow okay.
Every service is charge with a high price and they give low wages to the cleaners.
Clean and new. Conveniently located next to Farrer Park MRT station
I had terrible experience recently. The Singaporean ladies at the counter were repeating same thing again and again like a recorded message without giving me the information I asked for. While I was trying to explain that I took a day off and drove 1 hour to come here for this issue and asking if they could offer any suggestion, they listened and started repeating exactly the same message again and again. It was so creepy. Very unusual experience. I still doubt whether those ladies were robots or humans.
Very convenient since.the hospital and hotel located in same building. Many of top doctors in practice
The communication between clinic and hospital are always not being passed properly. As a customer, I have to keep following up with both parties. This should be something that can be resolved by technology. Terrible experience with how they communicate.
I went there to the 24 hour clinic to take MC as my back is aching. They said that I need to stay in the ward for a few days and tell me to spent more money in the ward.
Was admitted to the hospital for 3nights and the service of the doctors and the nurses were excellent! Kudos to the team of staff for taking the effort to make my recovery a great experience!
Very good services in this hospital.good experience doctors and are nice.
WHen I go there to get an outpatient service, they said that I am well even when I am having frequent bad thoughts about my work.
I was here from 14-15 June 2019 for an angiogram. Prior to admission, the many 1-star reviews here on Google really made me nervous. However, my personal experience here has been so positive that I felt compelled to share my own review here. The care I received has been nothing short of top-notch. Everyone was attentive and professional and I could not have asked for a better team to help me through what was a rather alarming health scare. Extra shout-out to the kitchen staff. Considering they probably had to minimise seasoning to keep everything healthy, the meals were surprisingly delicious. Also, I had a lovely view out my window of a garden planted with local herbs and vegetables and even some fruit which I assume is harvested for patients' consumption. Two small criticisms I would make:1. My insurance package included meals and bedding for my wife who stayed with me over the two days. However, the staff did not seem to be aware of this arrangement and we had to call our agent to clear things up. Communication could have been better between the hospital and its staff to ensure a smoother experience for patients and their loved ones. My angiogram ultimately showed I did not have any major heart blockage to worry about - but I can see how a family dealing with a more severe health issue might find this small bit of miscommunication extra frustrating during an already emotionally fraught time.2. The meals served here are covered with cling wrap. Perhaps it would be more eco-fr
terrible hospital.. i stayed there 3days 2 nites.. my surgeon simply hack care about me and not compassionate at all. The nurses are lousy and lazy as well.. they can even forget to give me medicine and push the blame to pharmacy dept .. omg
Hospital located in Little India area that is very convenient due to the faculty being connected to a hotel. Staying at the the hotel allows you to access the hospital without having to step outside. Many services offered from major testing to typical out-patient needs. If you’re looking for ease this would be something to consider.
Very bad experience from 24hr Emergency..My wife suffer from pain and we just go Emergency ..We hope doctor will check and give her some medicine and treatment to stop itching and pain after wait 30 min in waiting area we just start explain doctor last time we check from KK hospital but now suddenly start pain again.. your hospital near our house so we come here before doctor check anything or give any medicine he told us better go kk hospital and staff ask us pay $96 for nothing ..even no start any treatment and checkup ..doctor say he dont know anything about money..he say is outside matter ..I ask doctor can u tell me I pay for what then he say for refer KK hospital..i dont understand they ask me pay money for what ..if doctor no check anything or treatment ...is suddenly pain I think doctor check and give medicine to stop problem ..the managment have take action for this if patient in pain must handle first otherwise better close hospital so no one come in Emergency.. bcz of emergency we visit our near hospital but totally bad experience ..
When I join them as a nurse, they do not tell me where the equipment are but just gave me a warning letter for no reason.
Very luxurious hospital likened to that of s hotel medical suite
Good nurses and staff. Doctor was impatient to wait for a patient that was 15 mins late and refused to see the patient. Poor experience
bad service...I work there
Great hospital. I was here for a week under the care of Dr. Alvin Ng Choon Yong, and he was very thorough in trying to get to the bottom of a mysterious condition, instead of dismissing me as anxious. He saw me right away when we came into the ER, and was determined to get to the bottom of a list of symptoms I was experiencing (LPR reflux.)I saw many specialists and had tests done to rule out anything truly awful, and have a lot of information to bring back home to my doctor in the US, including a lead on exactly where the issue is. The nurses here were awesome and took great care of me. There are gorgeous walking areas, and I had a fabulous view of the city from my bed. Dr. Vincent Lai is a great GI as well. They have it all here. They could improve on the food! I needed pureed meals and very low acid, but everything was very acidic. If you don't need anything like that, then you'll love it because they had a great menu on offer. I'm leaving a few other amazing things out because this review is getting too long. I can highly recommend Farrer Park. You'll be lucky if you get Dr. Ng.
Facilities meet expectations. Room of improvements in service.
Very poor experience. Was raining v heavily my uncle stopped his motorbike under their shelter and the guard force him to move under the heavy rain. Hospital is inhuman
Very kind and nice private rooms if you have good insurance. No waiting time. But the communication between nurses and the patient is bad. They don't tell me when and with what I should take my medication. For example they gave me antibiotics with dairy products and with pro biotics. I asked if that's correct and they said sorry no.You should organise better. Plus I had to describe my symptoms 20 times to different nurses and doctors. Just assign a nurse to the room.
When I went there to take MC as I had a flu, the doctor do not even care and condemn me for smoking. I really need to take MC as I feel very sick.
I am writing this review while I am inpatient. Right now, in this very hospital.I am not sure why there is so much negativity towards this place, and whether there is some kind of internal cultural issue/conflict among the team working here. In any case, I hope it gets worked out soon. But from a patient’s perspective - I encountered smooth processes from admission and until now. There is smooth communication among the staff from shift to shift that I am not able to communicate verbally (because of a voice condition) and the nurses were ready to step in and help when necessary. The admission staff were also very proactive in assisting when they saw me with crutches and helpful with answering my queries (even though it took longer because I had to communicate by typing on my phone). The nurses in Ward 9 (Or IPS 9 - in their terminology) were also really sweet and friendly. One even told me to “be careful! please don’t fall down!” when she saw me hobbling past the nurses station with my crutches because I liked to walk around... to spin pokéstops on Pokémon Go. 🤣 Even the F&B staff were really helpful in pin-pointing what food is safe for me when I told them I had a nut allergy.Rooms wise, I must say that their rooms are the most well designed for UX and usability optimization (sorry, tech jargon here because I am a UI designer). The bed controls have a hook so they can hooked on the side rails without taking up valuable space on the bed. There’s a reading lamp that can be curled
The pateint here must pay for the hospital full at a full price. The pateints also must roll from the surgery bed to the ward bed. They call wards suite, making the visitors very confused.
absolutely atrocious hospital. unprofessional level of service and medical care. i'd much rather take my ailments elsewhere
Nothing wow in here definitely what you pay will determine what you get. Cash is king.
Everything that is serviced by One Farrer is not up to par on what we pay for.
At City Square Mall, I have experience a worker from Farrer Park Hospital taking pictures of me without permission.
Its very affordable and the hospital wards and staff are nice. Right next to farrar park mrt as well. However it isnt covered by several insurance companies
I stayed in a single-bedded room for my surgery. Waiting room for surgery was very noisy with nurses talking loudly. My friend stayed overnight with me and had to pay $32.10 per person per night regardless she wants a mattress or not. In the end, she was given a blanket and a pillow only as there was already a very hard mattress at the side. I stayed in Gleneagles before, there was no need to pay for friends or relative staying over. When I entered the room, there was no introduction to the door. I didnt know which button to press to call for non-emergency help. In the end, I pressed the wrong button.Nurses to administer medicine were always very late like 1 hr late than the actual time. We had problems with TV and it took us to call quite a few staffs and like an hour just to get a working remote control. The admin work was not done properly. I was able to be discharged before paying any charges in Gleneagles due to my insurance but in this hospital, my insurance agent had to help me email/fax additional documents urgenty to let me discharge without paying any charges. Overall, if you have money to spare, there are better hospitals with better service and management. I will try my best not to come back to this hospital.
Less crowded and quiet hospital
This feedback was emailed to Farrer Park Hospital on 3 January 2018. There was a reply that they will respond to me within 7 working days. Till date (22 Jan 2018), there was no response. I was admitted for 1 night for an ankle operation. As per what was told to me during my pre-admission, I proceeded to level 2 at 0600 for my admissions. The admissions office was completely empty. As a result I had no choice but to ask my way around with a limp to get myself admitted. There was no signage or instructions for guidance. As a medical establishment, the hospital should provide a more patient-centric approach whereby clear instructions could be provided for visitors in case of absence of staff or concierge for assistance. I was sent to the operating room by 2 male nurses. This was to me was highly insensitive. I was not very mobile and required assistance in getting undressed and putting on my robe. Such lack of patient respect and privacy was extremely uncalled for. After the surgery, a lady in uniform came to the room without identifying herself and her purpose of entering the room. It was after my asking that she mentioned that she is the physiotherapist and was in my room to check on my status after the operation and to teach me some exercises to help me regain my mobility. I have to say she is professional in teaching me how to use the clutches however service etiquette needs to be improved upon. Medications were served without informing me of what was given to me, as a pat
Very clean and so good doctor 100% perfect
Lousy place that do nothing but discipline the small flies for no reason.
Very conveniently located.
Great hospital. Clean and new. The ICU lounge is also very new and refreshing. However the price is expensive since it's private (as expected). The nurse is friendly too. Compare to other private hospital, this hospital is still relatively not as crowded, probably because it's still new. There are hotel next to it too, so you can stay next door if need be. It's also next to farrer park MRT
Full of nurses and cleaners that deserves warning letters, what a warning letter standards of them. I had been kind to Farrer Park and now how how how, I must give warning letter to them.
There is one well known ENT doctor, Dr.Chew. very good, hospital very clean, less people, bathroom very clean.
The staffs are not able to comunicate well with insurance provider
Great new concept of hospital, right after operation my dad can rest at cheaper rate 5 star hospital next to the hospital.
Single-stop hospital. Everything is here, clinics, diagnostics, labs. Very convenient and not too busy. Doctors appointment time are usually spot on. They even have hotel (One Farrer Park Hotel) next to it.
Brand new fully equipped hospital. Clean and well thought out care free environment. Will always pick this place over the chaotic MtE in orchard. Wished more doctors start moving here.
Emergency department has provided a very quick and professional service. Issa (one of the nurses) exceeded the expectations! Thank you!
Beautiful facade... Located with residence..
some of the nurses is very very lazy and not professional.
Equipment enhancement
Thank you for hospitality and five stars service from doctors, nurses and all staff
Staff are really helpful and nice, I remember my mom was hospitalized and passed away in here.. I want to thank them for the hospitality. Recommended hospital
Bad experience, some nurses were hostile and did not had good communication with the doctor which caused patient's family to be worried.
