Staff and nurses are friendly and helpful. Pleasant experience.
Ophthalmologist Xu Owen explained very carefully, soothing the patient’s nervousness due to surgery, and my husband’s response is also very good.
Their accident and emergency (A&E) department is not the best place to take children. Took my infant daughter for a respiratory infection and was referred to a paediatrician as there was none available on site. I had also taken my son there for a mosquito bite which lead to swelling and redness on the skin near his eyes the next day. Having worked in healthcare, I was concerned about the possibility of cellulitis and whether he needed antibiotics. I brought up my concern to the emergency room physician. He stated it did “not look red enough” to be cellulitis and to apply a steroid cream to the site. I asked if he needed oral antibiotics, he said “no.” Well, the next day, the swelling was even worse. I took him to KKH and he was diagnosed with periorbital cellulitis! We had to follow up with an ophthalmologist to make sure the infection did not progress to his eyes. After a course of antibiotics, the swelling and redness has thankfully resolved.
Horrible customer service. I made a phone call to seek advise on importing a stroke patient from JB and even specified a neuro surgeon. I was told by the customer service officer she cannot do anything and I have to call MOH myself and the clinic is closed and I can only try again on Monday. I called MOH and MOH said the protocol is for the hospital to make the necessary arrangements. Its a stroke case and this is how Gleneagles serve.
Professional health care with excellent service. Doesn't give you the feel that you are in hospital

Nice private hospital. Not the newest facility, but well cared for. Difficult to get around right now due to new mrt construction outside. Handling COVID-19 precautions well.

Disappointed! My wife came in for routine knee surgery a(October 1) I placed her in a private room. Hardly anyone came in to check on her. She had to ask for her food. My wife had to ask for assistance to urinate, at one point she accidentally wet the bed and they did not change her sheets; slept in it all night. Water to drink came late. There were no extra blankets in the overly cold room as I slept in the sofa-sleeper. Honestly, $600 for a private room begs the question, "Why?"
For those first time going to the medical centre. To avoid losing your way and to save time. Drive directly to B3 (basement 3).There is only a lift lobby to the medical centre, you won’t be confused with the hospital lobby. Then take the lift (only 1 lift to level 2) to Level 2, Level 2 is the “ground floor”. It is also the level for you to go to the various floors. Crowded medical centre.The level 2 staff (customer service) is very well-versed with the locations of various Doctors. Impressive!Please google and make appointment to get the Doctor you require.
No doubt on doctor and nurses professional, they are good but I'm kinda piss off on their bill payment system, I'm keep receiving messages that I'm have outstanding payment eventhough I already paid, I'm even go back there to settle this issue with them but message still sending to me, really annoying..
Terrible experience doing my health screening here. Long waiting times, cramped waiting area with insufficient seats, confusing building layout, nurses giving wrong instructions — misinforming me that I had another test at the radiology clinic upcoming when I had none, causing me to waste an hour waiting.
I would recommend Dr. Fong Kee Siew for bilateral lower eyelid surgery. She is very patience and skillful, and I was referred to her by Dr. Chan from Atlas Eye Specialist. For the ward admission, the waiting time to get paperwork completed is longer than expected estimated 30-45 mins while waiting for the room confirmation and in the end didn't get the single bedded room as stated in note due to their priorities. I was given a double-bedded room. Besides the negativity, nurses are quite friendly and accommodating, food was average and served on time. Thank you.

If truth be told, they are not a lot faster than other restructured hospitals. But if you are looking for quality medical care, you will not be disappointed. Cost is of course high (what did you expect)? But you get what you pay for.
I've been admitted twice in this hospital and made diametrically opposed experiences within the same week.First one was excellent! Level 8 staff was always ready, going the extra mile for a bit of added physical an mental comfort. Medicine (painkillers) was always delivered on time, for extra treatments, they'd do their best to reach out to doctors and get their opinions or approval in the shortest time possible. The most notable quality of this experience besides the professionalism, was their genuine KINDNESS and politeness. A greeting first thing in the morning, a "sleep well" in the evening and a caring smile each time you'd pass by, making this entire undesirable experience a bit more enjoyable.For my 2nd admission (level 9) after lung complications within the same week, I have made one of the worst experiences in my life AFTER the most traumatic night of my life.I couldn't do much due to my breathlessness and shattered thorax so for the first 3 hours I was left shivering, thirsty and without medication even though I asked for a blanket, asked for water and medication was already prescribed. There were no answers to my "good mornings" nor any other form of response. The smiles and caring attitude turned into dismissive looks and unprofessionalism throughout the day again when left this time without medication for 4 hours. I have ended up dragging myself out of the hospital, to a pharmacy and buy my own painkillers. Doors were slammed, lights switched on during the night

Too long service and inefficient system. Took in total of 7 hours to finish a check up. And charged really really expensive. But at least the doctors are good

This is my first time to do some medical check up and also some a little surgeon in Singapore.First I asked the Parkway Agent about the recommended doctor for Indonesian at the hospital, especially for my GERD and Gastritis disease which is gastrology. I booked with a doctor named Dr. Dede. At first I consulted with him at the hospital. From the conversation, I can feel the different between indonesian and singaporean doctor which is he asked me several questions in detail and there's no need to hurry, if you have problems about your body just tell them. At this point, I was charged one consultation with a full payment of USG.After that I've got recommended to do endoscopy and USG since the doctor need to know what already happened inside my stomach. Then for tomorrow I do endoscopy and USG at the hospital. In brief, I did endoscopy in different room with the doctor and his assistant. Before doing the endoscopy, I have got my medical status checked and injected anesthesia. I have got a nice experience in doing endoscopy since it's so neat and very good management. After doing the endoscopy and USG, I paid the total amount of endoscopy treatment + the biopsy to be analyzed. Then I went to see a doctor, and he said to wait for 24 hours since the biopsy need to be confirmed whether it has a bacteria or not, so the doctor told me to meet him tomorrow. At this time, I didnt pay any consultation fee to the doctor which is different than in Indonesia. Then tomorrow I have got my re
Doctors are good but the local nurses literally don’t bother about your wellbeing. Not helpful too. However the foreign nurses are caring.
Absolutely poor service at the admission desk! They waited until the day of surgery to get approval for insurance letter of guarantee. The day of?? That’s ridiculous! We waited for over an hour! And was late for surgery. That is something that should of been handled weeks ago! Shame on you Gleneagles!This is the last time we use this hospital

Terrible service at GLENEAGLES .. There is no communication each other (nurse to nurse and doctor also)I need to explain every situation what doctor said.They also never let me know before I ASK, although breakfast meal.it was really terrible experience there, but very high cost.and I HOPE IF DON'T KNOW ABOUT THING, PLEASE SAY "SORRY I DON'T KNOW I WILL CHECK AND COME BACK." Medical system in Singapore is over rated. Too expensive n not sufficient enough. Especially big hospital like gleneagles you would spend lots of time waiting. If injury is not serious it's better to go to GP near by. Service is also bad. Gernerally no customer service in singapire but big hospitals are the worst. Registering takes ages as they often chat n passing time.The hospital put me in a&e first but there is a long waiting time. So I requested to see specialist directly. No point waiting 1 hr to see GP and another 1 hr with specialist.
I am recommending Dr Dede Sutedja for Liver & related problems. Located in Annex Building lv 3. He is so caring and kind towards the whole process. Hospital is sure expensive, but thumbs up!
Worst experience ever, went to pick up my mum from the pick up area which doesn't allow you to wait. I was charge $3.60 when I drove into their parking and exited within 10mins. Greediest, money hungry and super inflated place to visit! do not recommend!

Good standard of medical care is all you will get. They are a business first and care nothing about the needs of patients. I will never go there again.
The billing department is really sickening! I have called them several times requesting for the final bill to be sent to me but they just never do it!The hospital received our payment promptly and yet a simple task they cannot attend to it!

Doctors and nurses are very helpful. Hospitalisation services are the best(including food). BUT too expensive for everyone. Best Hospital for people who are covered under Best Insurance plans.
It is not a hospital!! made to pay $70,000 for a simple hand fracture!! Without any notice, the doctor conducted all kind of test and ICU stuff and they relented only when we told them - don't have insurance - then promptly discharged. Disgraceful attitude of doctors - admin staff was very helpful though.

It was a "full house" and no single or 2-bedder were available and the 4-bedder ward turned out to be miserable. Endoscopy theatre was also a huge mess. It took me 6 asks to be discharged and they had to misplace my phone in the last hour lol

Cleaniness is good. But service and communication is horrible. My dad was hospitalised for an injury to his spine. Of the three days my dad was in there, the doctor did not attempt to even contact the family on his condition. Supposedly arrange for a meet up with the doctor on the third day morning, yet, the doctor was late for a good 2 hours. Communication by the nurses were also poor. Inform us to collect the medication at the medical centre. but it was actually at another clinic. Even for the discharge procedure, nurses take their own sweet time to process. Was told by the doctor to discharge since 11.30am. We left the hospital only at 2.30pm. Last but most importantly, my dad is not even in the condition to move about, but yet the doctor tells us there is no difference between going home and staying in the hospital? Those who wants to go Gleneagles, please think thrice.
Such a worst service, called many times to enquire on admission fee and ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes. Too bad and not satisfied!!!!

High level of service.
There’re two food court which open to public and two coffee shop (deli France & kaya toast). But the eating area is not so big and hard to find the seats sometimes...Guardian is located at the medical centre so you can buy something there. At the lobby, the children can enjoy watching some fishes inside the aquarium:)For me, I always feel the aircon is strong so some people might be cold at this hospital so it’s better to bring a Long-sleeve shirt or cardigan especially when you are sick.
Hospital in the heart of town
Excellent experience here (Maternity ward) and A&E.The nurses seem well trained and the amenities are sufficient. the doctor you see would depend on your choice from my understanding

This hospital has great outpatient clinics. Since this hospital is very crowded, you’ve got to make sure to set up an appointment prior to your visit. Appointments can be made up from several weeks to several months in advance. The building is a bit old in construction but still well maintained. They have great food court at the ground level but in badly need of more seats.The most professional hospital brand, but it means the cost is not cheap also; this is a very expensive hospital; they have good doctors but you’ve got to pay for it. The hospital has good site, but parking is a big headache and isn't cheap either.
Car park can be quite packed.
Friendly and helpful nurses but waiting time can be long. Waited an Hour at A&E to see the doctor, another hr plus to see the specialist. Hospital was fully occupied so i was being transferred to Mount E novena, which the whole duration took 6 hrs from time of registration to settling down in my ward.
Best endoscopy Centre I've been so far! Lovely food selection, served after completing a. Simple colonoscopy. Very affordable colonoscopy hospital bundles in town.. Must remember to choose hospital bundles, can save a lot of money!. Well and newly furnished, and even gave me a blanket to keep myself warm. Nurse manager attended to me and ensured that I was prepared for the colonoscopy. Recovery beds are very comfortable and spacious. No complications and nurses were very professional.
Most pro hospital in SG , I must say. Lots of consultants and very efficient staffs. Very expensive for foreigners but what can you say? It’s SG.
We were at Gleneagles Hospital today as my husband had cataract surgery.The concierge ,Mr Muhammad Chan came up to our room with a wheelchair to pick my husband to the taxi stand after his rest from the day surgery, was a very helpful staff.He not only did what he normally do, but he went all out to book a cab for us as i was queuing for a taxi to take us home.The queue was quite long and my poor husband was sitting in the wheelchair ,exposed to the fumes of the passing taxis and evening sunlight which was detrimental to his newly operated eye.Mr M Chan took the initiative to ask if he could help booked a taxi for us.I was so grateful to him.Kudos to him and also to Glen Hospital for having such a dedicated staff.Thank you so much Mr M.Chan.
Overall experience - I went in the Accident and the Emergency section and it took them 5 hours!!! There isn't enough room to even wait. AND It's VERY expensive! It would have been faster and cheaper to fly to India and see the best specialist!! (NOT KIDDING YOU!)Staff - The interaction with the doctor was also just about okay, nothing to write home about. The nurses though were excellent! Parking - A lot of people have commented about the problem. I went in a cab so I can't say much but I did hear people coming in and asking about parking. Also, I saw that just for valet service, they charge $10.
The nurse were friendly but the customer service team are the worst. Asked the front desk to put us on a waiting list for single bed rooms when we were registering for admission, and they said ok ,only to find out that they totally forgot and hence, after my dad's operation we had to be placed in a 2 bedder room. Told the receptionist about it and they say that they will try to accommodate our request and put us in front of the waiting list due to the failure in communication with the front desk at the ground floor and them at the 8th floor. Then, during the evening, when we asked if there are any vacancy for single bed rooms, the service personals told us there was a waiting list and we will have to be in the queue again. Is this a joke?? Do they actually put a note noting that the patients are waiting for single bed rooms or has our request simply fallen on deaf ears of the service staffs and they are just giving us perfunctory answers. Treating us like fools.We requested for a single bed room is cause the rooms will have a sofa for my mom to rest in while taking care my dad. My mom had to sleep on the chair which result in great discomfort and body aches due to her age. Will never come back here again. Worst hospital service ever.
Outstanding hospital with great service.
The parking is big headache and isn't cheap. The place are always pack with people. Even the food court seems to be pack.
Not enough beds . Had to wait for nearly 4 hours to get confirmation on beds and i got a 2 bedder. Requsted for 4 bedder for a day stay. Get prepared for the $$$$ as it is very expensive. If you are waiting outside Operating theater for your loved ones, prepare to stand for a couple of hours before you csn get a seat. Its always packed outside, not enough seating capacity. I would suggest if they could arrange for a waiting room with facilities like television, coffee tea dispensers etc. Only immediate family members should be allowed as i can see overseas patients family members occupy the whole area of the lobby outside the operating theatre. Management should look into this.

I stayed at gleneagles hospital for seven days. I was glad to be in the hands of the nurses from station 9 east and of Dr. Desmond Wai. They all have been so kind and cared me on 24 hours a day. Dr. Wai and also the nurses have been so competent and professional and they also have been very relaxed. Their is a very good atmosphere on the station and the most important reason of my healing Is the whole team and Dr. Wai. Thank you for all.

the fact they are treating a dictator really puts me off having any treatment there now . I am sorry to say when I had my heart infection through a virus they were slow to pick up on it , it was only on my return to the Uk , st Barts in London found this in 24 hours after i was admitted
Cannot recommend ER room. Friendly but not the most competent for small things like middle ear infection.

Here for a health screening. Pros - food and drinks provided. Cons - Long waiting times for each test. At least 2 hours wait for all to be completed. Parking is insanely expensive at $4 per hour
Amazingly comprehensive private healthcare facility attached to the hospital. Relatively easy to get to but make sure your bills can be covered by private insurance or Medicare instead of OOP (out-of-pockrt).
Horrible, they lie to me about changing room for someone else, and end up I had to stay in a room with some crazy person. When I told them that I needed my rest and ask the person to keep quiet, they told me they cannot do anything about it. Furthermore, when I changed room, I told them that the toilets were dirty and had to tell at least 5 nurses before someone came to clean it up.
Living donor liver transplant is performed in this hospital at Asian Centre for Liver Translaplant.

My husband went there for emergency with high fever. The doctor was mostly interested in adding on tests to make money and kept saying u can claim it from insurance.I don't mind spending on health but i didn't like the attitude. it seemed more business like. They sold us antibiotics before the result of the test and said if test is negative you can use it next time.
One of Parkway Group's major hospitals in Singapore. Popular but do research on the specialist doctor you will be seeing and ask about charges including hospital ward fees to avoid unnecessary grief when the bill comes. Parking is limited so it is best to take a cab there where possible. There is a cafe on the ground floor. A food court within the Botanics Gardens is also within walking distance. Alternatively, head towards Tanglin Mall.

Just checked out this afternoon...room - stayed in a single room but because all single rooms were full I was upgraded to a superior room. The temperature must have been set at 18 deg C or less and not feeling too well (which is why I was in the hospital to begin with) I complained about the cold. To my disappointment, the room did not have any thermostat control at all but was chilled by a central aircon. To make matters worse, the blanket on the bed is worse than the worst of Chinese budget airline blankets - it seemed like a cheap wafer thin cotton blanket! I woke up in the morning with a running nose - for a person who hardly gets a cold.service - staff communication was at best very basic. I was not told when I would be wheeled down for my medical procedure. The porter suddenly showed up with the wheel chair and announced that it was time to go down. No warning of his arrival, leaving me with no time to pack up and change for the medical procedure.all in - an experience no better than a second class subsidised government hospital.
The care was average--not exceptional, but nothing to complain about. I took my friend there. What was unacceptable was the bill. She had to stay overnight and I covered the cost for her because she doesn't make a large amount of money. For a very simple procedure (draining a cyst), they kept her overnight and charged me $7000. Either they charge too much or they scammed me with an inflated bill. It took me 2 months of budgeting to pay that credit card charge off. I'll die before I seek medical treatment in Singapore again.
