Take the boyfriend to check the URO department. The doctor complains that he has pee before the examination. Unable to detect results But still let the fans check and when the results come out The doctor doesn't know what kind of bacteria it is. The doctor will send us to the other department for examination. We said I would like to go to check the hospital with insurance. The doctor said that other places did not test for Because the cost of the examination is expensive Will let us examine here And use insulting words So we don't checkGood service staff, but the doctor speaks very badly. I was angry all the time. Explain the results of the examination Keep complaining that the test result is not clear because the boyfriend just pee Will come to check again next week English was poor Why not use an interpreter? I did not understand since giving our girlfriend a test, even though the doctor said for himself that the examination may not be found because of the urine. Then will you be examined for? Usually, attending a private hospital, never met a doctor speaking like this. This one is the first one.In conclusion, paying for drug examination without knowing what is
Treated by a specialist doctor Attentive quite well The car is very comfortable. But the price on the side is high Maybe because of the service Beware of shortening the examination queue
DO NOT BUY YOUR MEDICINE FROM THE HOSPITAL PHARMACY. Overall my treatment by the hospital was good but you would expect that as I am a paying patient. However when we went to the pharmacy to collect my prescription I was shocked to see the prices. I was absolutely disgusted that even a private hospital would RIP off their patients so much. I took my prescription to a local pharmacy and paid just under 1300 baht for the exact same medicine. The hospital had wanted over 5000 baht. That's 400% more. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF. DO JOT USE THE HOSPITAL PHARMACY. I can understand a private sector company adding a bit of a mark up as they are a business but 400% is just daylight robbery. You should be ashamed of ourselves as their is absolutely no justification for ripping off your patients to this extent.
Appointment time never works. Always delayed 40-60 mins
I have visit this hospital more than 35 times over the last 12 years .I did spend more than Baht1,500,000.00 at this hospital paid always cash straight out of my own pocket .Yesterday I needed a scan& biopsy they wanted to charge me between the Baht48,000.- and Baht 50,000.- I told them this is a complete rip off and showed them with my iPhone 4G I could get the same scan & biopsy in Europe for roughly Baht19,000.- .I walked away suddenly I heard the Nurse saying Sir,Sir we can do the job all in for Baht35,000.- !!I turned around and said ok deal . Before they proceed with the scan & biopsy the Nurse asked me to come with her to the cashier and hand over my watch and phone .I just exploded and ask the nurse are you afraid Im not going to pay the bill ? I have visit this hospital more than 35 times over the last 12 years and paid all my bills cash never ever one penny short !I walked straight out of the hospital and told the nurse I will never ever come back to this hospital again Im disgust with it .It was the second time I walked out of that hospital within 4 months .I have been 12 years a client of the hospital they still don't know my correct nationality they still don't know Im 1,80 cm etc..They keep asking me the same question over and over again after 12 years !To me it looks like they are not organised at all The hospital loves to inflate your bill with running all kinds of test while I had those tests already done 2 months prior or give me easily again another t
I woke up with food poising the morning we were to head home on a 30 hour travel time to canada. Went there around 12:00 pm and told them i had to catch a flight out of thailand at 11:00pm i was treated in and out in around 2 hours. The facilities were immaculate one of the best hospitals i have ever visited and service was immediatiate i had an IV in my arm in 10 minutes of arriving they gave me meds for my journey home and i made it home with no problems. Hope i never have to go back but if i did that'ss the only hospital id visit in Phuket! I was told it cost alot to go there from my hotel but i had insurance but when i left the bill was only 6700 Baht around $290CAD which was cheap for the blood work the iv drugs and medication for the trip home!
I had a dental appointment scheduled for 2pm. At 2:35pm I was still sitting in their lobby waiting to even be checked in, let alone actually in the dental chair. Absolutely ridiculous dental department. Left hand has zero idea what the right is doing. To make matters worse, we had arrived one hour earlier at 1pm for our daughter’s dental appointment, so aside from a 5 minute dash to the ATM, had actually been sitting in their dental department for 1.5 hours only to listen to them say “one more moment sir” the entire time.
Best hospital in town. Always very helpful staff and doctors. Very friendly and good English speaking.
Made an appointment by email for MRCP. It was very easy & efficient. OUM rang me to confirm everything. When we arrived at the X-ray department, OUM greeted us & we found that there was a slight problem but she rectified it immediately. Had the tests & results were back after 1.5 hours. We were very happy with everything. Very professional staff & hospital overall. Would definitely go back. Thank you OUM for your outstanding service & efficiency.
Undergo hemorrhoid surgery and endoscopy Here I accept that I am not disappointed at the decision. 29 / May / 63 Dr. Atthiranayakat is very kind. And other medical teams and nurses are well looked after Worth the price if having insurance. Recommended ... ...
It's very sad that a couple of experiences when it came to how this hospital's accounting department dealt with international insurance. The total bill was in excess of 110 000 Baht and all along the way it was ALL about approval from insurance before they would lay a finger on me. With writhing back pain there was a huge wait for an x-ray, than there was another wait of over 2 hours for an MRI, than there was another 2 hour wait for approval for a room. Medically speaking, all went perfectly well and better than a lot of European or North American facilities without a doubt but right down to the last moment of checking-out of the hospital was when the full realization kicked in that this place ONLY cares about every single baht that they can squeeze from their patients. After signing papers for every single procedure that was done over the 2-day period, when it came down to trying to leave there suddenly appeared a bill that they insisted to be paid or they would literally block the doors of exit. It was for a single physical therapy treatment received just before the procedure and there was no mention, in this case, that it was NOT covered by insurance! The accounting staff were rude, not understanding that it was their procedures that caused such an oversight and refused to take any responsibility for the error of not saying anything, in advance, that this would have to be paid personally - no papers were signed acknowledging that it would be a self-paid bill and no apolog
My niece was hit by a car with a broken leg. Have to undergo surgery urgently, the doctor works fast For the safety of grandchildren After surgery Well looked after
For people who have health insurance, treatment here is very good.
This place is a rip off if they know you have insurance! This place has taken 60, 000 baht off my 18 year old daughter and would not leave this hospital without any food as they wanted her to stay another night and do more tests including a MRI scan!We knew they were ripping her off as they had told us that they had contacted our insurance when they had not!A family member who is in the affluent area of Bangkok said that it should not have cost more than 15, 000 Baht! Also another family member who works in the NHS said that all she needed was a cat scan and antibiotics! This is now a reason for me to never visit Thailand again!
ICU ward, if meet with good people, will take good care. Overall, not much attention. Appease only foreigners
Very very good hospital. Nurses doctorStaff at the top of kindness. Very high level hospital. 2 times hospitalized 1 week each time for serious reasons. Super support. Regular follow-up checksDuring the day with the doctors concernedWhere do we find that?Equally nice French interpreter.Thank you
I chose this Palace of medicine because I wanted to get the highest quality. After spending more than $ 1,500 cash in 3 days, I'm done with it. The staff carefully reproduces the memorized procedures, not understanding the basic principles of sterility. I was taken with open wounds through the lobby with visitors for x-rays, the staff uses mobile phones without changing gloves, and today a fly flew into the treatment room. I'm afraid to imagine what's going on in their major operations. The doctors look qualified, but in general it seems like a bunch of polite robbers.
They will ask you several times about your insurance, once you answer you have one, they'll try to admit you there for a couple of nights (+5 stars hotel rate which insurance will pay to them) for whatever reason before trying to get any diagnosis from you. P.S: 10 meters away from the entry you'll have a wonderful views of a sewage river :)
It’s just the best hospital, pulled out a wife from a critical condition, diagnosed in 12 hours, all doctors are very responsive and are ready to answer questions at any time, though they contacted without insurance, since she had not yet started acting at the time of the visit, the most expensive examination , and being in the ward and medicine are relatively inexpensive, but here you can 100% say that they have price / quality
I express my deep gratitude to the entire team of this hospital. From the threshold we were greeted very good-naturedly, the doctors and assistants are very professional. There was a dog bite. Treatment and 4 injections cost 21,000 baht. Service, professionalism allow you to close your eyes to high prices. How a 5 star hotel looks like a hospital.
There was a toothache, without hesitation, we went on insurance to Hostipal Phuket and were not disappointed, we did everything quickly, the staff were very polite and provided an interpreter for which special thanks!I did not have to wait a hundred years in lines, although there were a lot of people in the hospital!I immediately asked about the price so that they would not have done above the insurance provided and did not have to pay extra. And those who complain about horse prices before coming to Asian countries do not spare money for insurance or lay out a bunch of thousands of baht for treatment! And money-laundering in Russian hospitals is very common.
Emergency is very quick but when it comes to international insurance it’s horrible, everyday the new system, they fighting for 50 euros and not letting out of the hospital even if insurance will definitely cover it the next day and they have my passport and its not enough. I thought it’s more prestigious hospital. And every time for vaccination i have to wait at least 2 hours cause they don’t let pay insurance for several future visits... The system should change or thai people need to be more relax........😤💩
Excellent equipment, professionalism and attitude of the clinic staff to patients! Do not skimp on good travel insurance!
Horrible communicationGood doctors, friendly nursesDisgusting post treatment patient care
Service was great treatment and care was great but at the end another scam. I paid 25,000 for the procedure and then after I owe another 14,000. Do not use the use hospital if you are concerned about money. They do not do full disclosure until it is too late.
This is a very well established private hospital! They have great service and patient care! They are in the Phuket city in a good location! The staff are professional as well! They are however very expensive! If you are hospitalized, if you do not have an insurance it must the hard to pay off their bill! I was hospitalized due to food poisoning and had to pay about $1500 just for a night! I was told one night would cost about 12k thb including doctor and nursing service but without informing me, I received the invoice of over 42k THB! That’s tricky! Thanks to the travel insurance! Most of it was covered!
Just meeting the publicity wasn't too impressive. Patients carry government officials cards to make cards. Can't do it here Must also request an ID card Even though the civil servant card has a 13 digit card number Have a clear photo identification Has a certification from the card issuing authority ... She said that Must ask to see the evidence of the year of birth from the ID card! Go crazy. Go. We As well as the sullen expression of public relations ... listen to this This means that if we are in an emergency, we are not carrying an ID card. Would not be able to cure ... Leave those involved Good review?
Strongly recommend Bangkok Hospital in Phuket. Staff is professional, kind and English speaking. They provided good emergency care of my wife - she needed wound cleansing, dressing and antibiotics after injury. The surgeon and orthopedist took care of the wound. They were very careful, explained really clear what they do and why, so the cleansing and dressing was provided with minimum pain in comfort way.Everything what was done, all of medicines and equipment used during medical treatment and recommendation was on invoice. Full medical information was included what was crucial due to necessary of continue of treatment in our homeland.
An accident occurred during my trip to Phuket. My baby, 4 months pregnant, had amniotic fluid and needed an induction operation. I was soooo scared!!!! Called the ambulance in the middle of the night. Everyone in the hospital are friendly, professional and gave me the most professional care when I was most afraid. The obstetrician and nurse are very good! The hospital is very clean, the equipment is advanced and everyone speaks English. After the operation, I lived in a VIP room (6180 bht/night included 3 meals) The room is large and there are two bathrooms and one kitchen. The nurse will come to check every hour. Very very professional & satisfied! Many many thanks to doctor Sasiya & nurse Aplnya !!!’ Big hugs!!!
Really good treatment, the nurses are super nice and careful. The only thing is that hospital is very careful with payments from insurance companies, so they double check the confirmations and it might take a while for you to wait at the cashier.
Do not spare money for insurance! Chic hospital as a 5 star hotel, service, professionalism and care. They came with a child with intestinal flu from the entrance to the doctor, accompanied them, about 20 minutes before taking them, all the medicines were prescribed and given out, right on the bottles how to take them. There is a dining room and a bank and a shop.
Worst experience of my life, got told I had to have emergency operation for life or death, got told it would cost me over 10,000 pound sterling I told the staff over and over again I could not pay this type of money, they forced me to sign a from I didn't want to sign ... I told them over and over again I can't sign Because I don't have that type of cash I do not come from a rush family.. they said just sign it's a matter of life just sign it will be ok , when I woke up the then he'll me captive untill I got my friends to transfer me cash ... They do not care for people at all just money money money money .. the have no human ethic at all .. horrible horrible place !
Money hungry hospital. Worst experience place to avoid will not treat you until you pay under any circumstances
Been here several times for various issues needing different departments. the staff are very polite and helpful. The hospital is set up in a good way. there are various places to eat and a convenience store. this place in sum can well handle people waiting for their friends in some sort of manner, but also taking care of an individual with a particular problem or issue. strongly recommended. PS interesting note - while the hospital apparently did their orginal image deal with Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok, they and this Phuket institution do not share files or have any kind of working association.
We didn't go to inside but outside is really impressive. It's like a hotel not a hospital.
Money greedy hospital. Paid 6000 baht for nitrogen treatment when it should cost 2000 baht. Colorectal treatment 98000 baht and on TOP of that sells unnecessary medicine like crazy...some of them even react against each other!! Watch out!! The Doctors and Nurses cannot even express themselves clearly...dangerous
From the UK, came here for a fractured heel, can't fault the place. Was seen to pretty quickly and was sorted with no issues along the way
Money making business, be aware if you don't have an insurance. After doing some research and speaking to our hotel reception we decided to go for his hospital for our 16 month girl. We have spoke to insurance to check if we are good to go. Insurance contacted hospital before we have arrived, so we didn't have to pay deposit. Our girl was examined promptly after arrival, taken to ward swiftly, prescribed treatment and diagnostic. Staff speaks good or communicative English, is kind and easy to deal with. We received good size room, with kitchenette and bathroom with all necessary toiletries. Meals were very good. Both sides of hospitalization, doctors and medical care as well as amenities were 5* (there were some negatives but minimal). We have been very looked after, to much higher quality than in UK or in Poland.
i never see any hospital charging doctor fee when you go for follow-up after you finish your medicine. Each time you visit this hospital (follow-up or first time visit) they charge you 1500 baht + some other invented fees. They check your weight and tension and charge additional 200 baht each time.i think they charge less price for Thai people since my Thai girlfriend see doctor before she paid 500 baht doctor fee. İt's ridiculous and never acceptable. So this place looks more like a money making center than a hospital has ethics. For me it's a real tourist scam.i will never go again.
Exceptionally good and swift service, very nice nurses and doctors speaking good English.
Doctors, nurses, service is very good. Including everything is good, according to the price But the parking lot is very small Even if someone strikes the doctor in the morning, then only one plane, hurry to come before the time for 1 hour.
Got bitten by a monkey whilst on vacation and had to visit a hospital for emergency treatment. Bangkok hospital Phuket was chosen quickly and I am very glad we chose it. Everyone was extremely attentive, all nurses and doctors spoke good English, were very professional, and were very kind. I was in and out of A&E within 30 minutes. It cost £180/7,140 baht for my treatment. We visited on a Sunday evening and it was very quiet, in a good way! They also put all of my treatment in a gift bag which was a really nice touch for a bad situation. The building was also extremely clean and well maintained. I must say, this was probably the best emergency care I have ever received in my life. Thank you to all the staff at the hospital. ขอบคุณทุกคน!
I want to express my gratitude to the hospital staff who helped in assisting with the treatment. Unfortunately I did not remember the name of the doctor, a young girl. All equipment is modern, very clean, high quality.I have never met such good clinics.Contacted by insurance. The only wish is to reduce the waiting time for the payment of the deposit.
Like in American cinema)Great, well-coordinated service,The staff speaks English.Expensive.
One of the best hospital they help my baby when we were in vacation and he got virus it's expensive but they realy take care with love thanks
Foreigners please 'BE AWARE' of this Hospital if you do NOT have Insurance. I have visited this Hospital many times over the last few years (i am a resident) and of late it is becoming more and more of a money making scheme and not a place care. Last week i had to attend Bangkok Hospital for an infection and to get some Antibiotics and when i got to the counter to pay, i was asked to pay 8,500 baht + Doctors and Nurses fee. total of 10,000 Baht.I questioned the high price and said i will buy the Antibiotic elsewhere, I payed my doctors fee and went to Super-cheap Pharmacy in Chalong where i paid for the same Antibiotics only **800 baht** !! Be careful please.
Asked for an appointment 4 days ago, then get an answer that the appointment book is full and it can take 2 hours. When I was in the KH then I was told that the day is not a doctor in the Skin Center :-(
Outstanding Services. Our favorite hospital in Phuket. Our daughter got a common cold while traveling in Thailand and we took her to this hospital. Top notch place. Modern and the doctor were up to the International Standards. Great experience for us and our daughter recovered fast. Our International insurance got covered and all worked nicely. Foreigners like to come to this hospital.
Extremely nice and sweet nurses, well English speaking. Doctors were professional and clinic is well and modern equipped. Prices arent that expensive comparing to private hospital in Bangkok. Overall a good experience there. As a tourist I recommend to go there and not to a general Thai hospital were the waiting time could take hours.
Hello,C is a good hospital a very good home I am quickly passed me was diagnosed otitis the only drug plus consultation 1 minute 60 euros is why I removed a star and especially always go on the internet before taking a drug that he gives you the drops he gives me was not for otitis.
Service is not professional. Not suitable for the price paid The service staff are not standardized, stammered, the housewives, women come to sit, chatter, play phone in the bathroom, what is it? Should be improved quickly.
The staff are helpful and nice but the prices of medicine (which is locally brand in Thai language!) and physician’s fee are way to high!!!
Excellent care. Very good doctors and interpreters !!!I always felt in good hands. I was receiving Dengue Fever treatment in 2018. I would visit this hospital every time I have a problem. I was very satisfied and would like to once again thank all doctors and nurses in this way.
Excellent service. Seems quite expensive for the area but the quality of care and the staff were outstanding. Their billing person work directly with my international health insurance company to figure everything out.
This is a typical local hospital where greed superceds anything else and where the professional and most probably educational pedigree of its medical staff is not commensurate with the price they charge. If possible would not have been giving any star. A word of advice - ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILLS BEFORE PAYING AS THEY ARE QUITE TRICKY!
In Phuket and neighboring areas, Bangkok Hospital Phuket is comfortable in many ways. The doctors are long and the medical staff is long and professional. But on some days, there are many recipients. And parking lots are usually limited.
Very quickly, professionally examined and diagnosed. Have written out medicines. I came for insurance. No difficulties arose. The clinic is expensive.
Very good serviceI walked into the employee carries out the same.Building massive costs quite high. As for those with access.
dont waist your time or money at bangkok hospital. they only care about money and not your health. at the end of the day i went at dibuk hospital and they did an excellent job for almost half the price!!!
Great hospital. Short waits and nice staff. Were there with our 4 year old daughter. Everything smoothly.
Service not suitable for price Nurses and doctors do not have much standards. Asked what he was saying No professionalism
Reliable and competent staff, the doctors excellent👍
We have just checked out of this hospital today and my daughter (10) is sicker than when we arrived. She was admitted with a UTI and for antibiotics feeling ok and we leave with her looking awful after contracting Influenza B. The staff told us Influenza was all throughout the hospital but not one I mean not ONE nurse, doctor, international liaison, cleaner, etc used hand hygiene on entering the room or while in the room! The whole 6 days of our stay I saw 1 person use it after we complained. The hospital looks and runs well, the staff were friendly and everyone looks the part in their suites. But how could this critical practice be missed??? My partner and our baby were in the room the whole time so high chance we will get it too! We have commenced a formal complaint and will follow it all the way!
I was really nervous and scared going to a hospital in a new country, even though my issue was very minor. The staff were so helpful and spoke great English and made me feel very comfortable. The hospital is really clean and polished and organized.
A very good hospital, the registration was very fast and uncomplicated. The doctors and nurses are very accommodating and have a high level of expertise. We recommend.
I arrived there 10:00 am then the counter information took me to register area after finishing registration I wait about 20 mins the the nurse took me to 4th floor then wait again but not too long about 15 mins other nurse asked me about passport OK I let my friend send me my passport for change my register from Thai to English You know I have waited for re new_register about 50 mins the the lady ask me to renew my imformation after that after that you know the lady let me sit to wait I was waiting more than an hour without saying anything from the staff they just walked pass me I also worried I didn't eat anything but I was hungry a lot but I keep to wait cuz I worried the staff will call me I can see the doctor about 13:15 pm absolutely disappointed with this hospital a lot
After an accident due to heavy pain in my leg I had to go to the hospital. As I arrived the employee at the entrance helped me with a wheelchair and he guide me to the reception. Administration lasted for 5 minutes and I was at the bone department. My doctor was polite and helpful after Xray check the result was not clear. He asked additional CT examination finally I got gypsum and crutch. I also got traning how I need to use the crutch on stars etc.. Everything was fast and well organized, all of the employee was very helpful. The hospital is very nice and modern. Only the final invoce and information flow was slow between the hospital and my home insurance company.
Went to the emergency department for a severe foot injury. I was seen immediately and received excellent care. Great friendly staff.
The staff is not standard. And the sign says Inter. Imagine the customer has no problem (people) to solve the problem.
Good Services Fast Services
The team at this hospital was very good. I had shoulder fraction. The doctors are like in Europe. Good quality.Very good experience as part of an emergency visit. Competent doctors, European standard. Doctors made the same assessment as later confirmed by German doctors. In any case, the house 1st choice at oneEmergency!!!!
poor service and only focus on money. im very very disappointed. better go to dibuk hospital...
not quite impressed here. been waiting to make a payment for 1 hour+ they should have learnt from Bumrungrad International HospitalI am not a big fan of Bangkok Hospital anyway
2600baht for a 5minute checkup doctor very lazy Wanted me out As soon as possible i had to Fight my way to get an Xray done Money making buisness.
My mom underwent a hip surgery in phukhet .So we were very skeptical that what we should do and where should we get her surgery done as we were not aware of the hospitals reputation here in phuket. But by recommendations of some friends we decided to get her operated in Bangkok Hospital phuket .From the day one when we got her admitted in the hospital everything went from a scratch to a perfect hospitality with utmost care and responsibility .The nurses ,orthopedist and entire staff gave their best to our surprise and treated her surgery to their best when she was admitted to Surgery intensive care .She was looked after very professionally and with great care and love.As my mother was fully insured for her medical expenses which should have been taken care by insurance company here in India didn’t help much initially and kept us in a dilemma and yes no situation as we kept asking them for GOP from their side so all medical expenses should be taken care of .But all thanks and all heartiest congratulations to one lady who totally stood out in helping us out was Miss Theressa from the International Insurance assistance from the hospital management. She is such beautiful soul and her efforts was commendable the way she helped us out throughout in giving us right guidance throughout for the claims .As a matter of fact the entire team was commendable and deserve a lot of appreciation for their work which they are and have performed exceptionally beautifully well without any hassles
This hospital is a miracle! I'm still impressed. It seems that I came to the hotel and you are served as a VIP guest, although this is just a hospital! A Russian assistant was immediately assigned to us, who asked us about the reason for the appeal and sent to the necessary doctors. Then you sit on comfortable armchairs, waiting for reception. The analysis was done immediately and deciphered. Immediately in the hospital gave all the necessary medicines. I don’t know how much money was in the end, because I covered all the insurance, but I’m sure that without insurance it’s better not to contact here - it’s fantastically expensive
I was on recommendation today in this hospital to have a cold checked. My experience is consistently positive. The registration took place in the hotel-like entrance hall and took less than 5 minutes.A short time later I was interviewed by a nurse and after about 20 minutes I was called to a doctor P.. Afterwards, I was bled (I have never felt so little when taking a blood sample!). The quick test took an hour. After that, the doctor told me the first results. Tomorrow I receive the rest by e-mail and can call again and explain everything to me. I received prescriptions in the in-house pharmacy and the payment at the cash desk in the hospital including a detailed invoice went smoothly. All in all I am very satisfied. Everyone was very friendly, the communication in English was no problem at all and after 1:45 hours I could already use the taxi service from the hospital.Top!
USA This was the best experience I have ever had going to the hospital. I called in the morning at 7 with a bad ear infection I was seen by a specialist at 10. It was like calling my ear nose and throat specialist and getting in same day. She had all the right tools to check my ear completely. They supplied all the prescription right there at the hospital and I was gone for 150 American. I only wish I had this kind of care back in the states.
Dental Department not to my satisfaction, queries not answered properly or avoided.
My initial experience was good. As I spent three weeks in the ICU unit. The staff were attentive and responsive. All that changed when I was moved to the general ward. The nursing staff are unprofessional in the extreme. We had workers outside our rooms using concrete hammer drills. And the staff didn’t even bother to notify. Or move any of us to quieter parts so we might: Recover from surgery, recover from life threatening illness’s, or just get some sleep. To say I was disappointed would be the understatement of the year. I spoke to one nurse, from another part of the hospital, who was helping me one day. And her words were this: “When I started here four years ago. I thought the nurses were angels and I would be helping sick and injured people get better. Now I realise all the hospital cares about is taking money from its customers. And most of the staff do not care anymore .“ Avoid this place if you can....
Convenient location, clean, good service, good price. But it looks good. Today, check the health. The sitting room looks good. I have to eat with. The hunger for the doctor. I have used several times. Never disappointed in service quality. I want this state-of-the-art facility. Personnel service locations except price.
Great hospital. Russian-speaking and English-speaking staff. Like hotels in Dubai, there is everything from a Sunday fair with books to a secluded waiting room for doctors. Got after falling here in an ambulance, spent almost a day. The CT and X-ray machines are new, you can even drive into the lavatories in a wheelchair, the only thing is that first you are taken by paramedics and their assistants, but it is better to see your doctor. It is better to apply for insurance, emergency call, CT scan of the brain, x-rays of the arms and legs in several projections, consultation of a surgeon, a neurologist and all medications cost 45,000 butt.
Very bad hospital. Charging what they feel like. I was planning to take childbirth packet with them but I change hospital because service was really poor. Nurses don't speak good English. They try to sell me all kind of extra service. Bill was never correct. This hospital is only money making scam.
Great place.Thank you so much for treating the doctors and good translation Zarina.Be healthy and happy.
Excellent staff and highest standard service.
The hospital is very good and the child is allergic. The doctor’s attitude is very good. There is a very good translation of the glasses and it is very patient. sincere gratitude.
Very bad experience. Unfriendly and unhelpfull staff, no internatioanl standards. I went to a lot of hospital in Thailand and this one is probably the worst . The consultation was done in 30 sec, with door open on the wating room area. they missed half of the symptomas and did not even check fever. I will not go back again for sure. And check your bill before paying, as a foreigner they give you the most ewpensive brands on purpose. Totally over priced for the quality of services and cares.
Hospital on Swiss level with Swiss prices. In highly complex diseases, however, one is better off in Bangkok.
A passport is required prior to arrival. If you do not have insurance do not go away. Since this is a business place for anything intended to take money out of the insurance companies. And that includes any way to extend your stay in the hospital even when there is no longer any need. The hospital is very prestigious (you have to pay 20 thousand baht, about 2,300 shekels, $ 630). You can communicate in English. Great attitude of doctors and nurses. Private rooms are as spacious as a hotel. With sofa and TV fridge etc. Regarding the professional level I assume that it is also high accordingly. They treated me well. I dropped a star because of the excessive cost.
Was knocked down by a wave and injured my knee. Was taken here by ambulance from Mai Khao. Was seen almost immediately by the on-call doctor who recommended the orthopedic specialist. After an x-ray and MRI, I was cleared to fly home to Chicago. I received appropriate meds for both pain and the flight as well as a pair of crutches. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional and the facility itself was modern and clean. Final bill came to just over $1,000. It would have cost several thousand dollars more in the states. It's an ER in a hospital, not urgent care. If your bill is less than $1,000, you should be happy. Also, because they gave me a CD with the x-ray and MRI results, I didn't have to have either of those tests run when I got home.
GERMANThe Bangkok Hospital in Phuket Town is centrally located and has several large parking lots. The hospital consists of several buildings and the complex is quite spacious. There is a special emergency room to the right of the main entrance - you should use the registration at the main entrance if it is not really an emergency. You should keep your passport and all information about the accommodation on Phuket ready so that the administrative part can be done quickly. This took us around five minutes - after that, we only waited for half an hour in the desired department until it was examined by a specialist. The staff was always friendly and they accompanied us on all the way - the hospital looks a bit like a 4-5 star hotel. You can tell quickly that everything here is well organized - after the investigation, you will be accompanied to the cashier area, where you will receive a number to pay for the investigation.Attached to this is also the same issue of the pharmacy at which one receives advice on the prescribed drugs in English. We had to pay about 4000 THB - which compared to Bangkok still seemed quite humane. The only drawback: it was not really on what you currently for medication, so it could possibly have incompatibilities we would not proactively pointed out.Otherwise, say, if you actively participate in the investigation and can tell the doctor of your own importance, the Bangkok Hospital is a good choice should it come to a disease on Phuket.ENGLISHThe Bangkok H
1 minute to see the doctor1 minute to get x Ray1 minute to see the doctor20 minutes to wait to pay the bill so I left, hospital rang me in the evening, I paid online....Not the first time I've done a runner there!
I arrived at the hospital yesterday and was taken by the staff into the hospital by a wheel chair after slipping and falling in the street injuring my back and was in great pain.I was taken to the emergency department and immediately made comfortable on a bed, within a few minutes a doctor came to see me and it was found I had pulled my back muscles.I was given and injection to relieve the pain and an anti-inflammatory injection. After one hour of more tests I was told I could go home as the treatments had relieved my pain.Totally professional treatment by the two doctors I saw and the two nurses who helped. All of the treatment including the tablets/medication I took home cost 4000 baht, if I had been in the UK and at a private hospital of such a high standard it would have cost five times more.I highly recommend this hospital and the staff, who speak very good English.I have read some of the comments from people who give only one or two stars and it seems some people always want something for nothing.James (UK)
As in a 5 * hotel, everything is beautifully beautiful. There are Russian-speaking staff.
Despite a quick treatment in the ER it was a nightmare to get this hospital to deal with our international insurance company, they were pushing really hard to make us pay directly when the insurance company clearly sent them the guarantee of 100% payment. Be ready to pay in cash or wait for them to cope with their International Medical Service inefficiencies.
Doctors very well, nurses very well, the meager right but how can one wait 1 hour to pay for the consultation ???????? 🤒😫
The best hospital in Phuket. There are full-time translators. The cost is high, it is better to apply for insurance.
Had to be admitted for 2 days with bacterial virus and dehydration. I was impressed as to the treatment I received. I had fainted before I got to hospital so was not left alone to walk by myself. An ambulance came from the public hospital where they stabilized me then a Dr. took me to the Bangkok Hospital to be admitted. Several tests done. I did refuse MRI as I know these are expensive, albeit I had insurance. The Dr. was concerned I may have hit my head with the fall, but I felt it was suggested because of the private insurance. However I cannot fault the treatment I received. It was hassle free and I was certainly taken care of. My deposit was refunded in 5 days. They had an interpreter who helped sort out the insurance and guide us with the process.
Good service, but the room charge is very high. But look at the other side is he is investing too.
Purely. Fast service. Very nice staff; Thais are really local here. Spacious chambers. There are translators in Russian. Expensive. Better not to hurt ...
View All I do not see a queue. Waiting for an hour to walk to ask staff to pose. I do not know what to do. I have to say that the answer to the page that came to me. I sit listening forever. I went to ask. ... you Every time I come to use it offline. The service is close to the government hospital. But how many times have you paid for your service? Let's take a look. I used the service on 08/01/62 time to complete the doctor at 11 o'clock at 12:05 pm to wait for medication now 12.15 am have not received the drug. The 3 chief financial officers who are very poor, you have no service mind. Or because I did not bother you so you do not care.If you do not have an antenatal boyfriend here, do not come back. This is the end of the case. You are not interested in me now because you are so many customers will care customers who use the whole house like me, why?Thank you
Would like the hospital to take a medical record of service regarding the insurance claim of the customer Not just saying that the agent didn't have to say to the hospital's claim department.
Solid five with a plus! Fast and professional, but expensive ... so that it's better to apply for insurance! The cost goes off)))
Pumping out money works perfectly well, otherwise I put a unit. Why?I needed a price list for services to remove neoplasms. I will explain: I came with a ready diagnosis. What did they propose to me?Go to the doctor for an examination, which would cost from 1,000 baht. I quote: 1.000 baht or 2.000 baht, maybe the price of the inspection will be higher, this does not include the removal of the tumor.Silent shock: I need to know only the price of removal, the diagnosis, the size of it all on my hands, what kind of inspection, what are we talking about? In general, turned around and left. Go to the doctor, so that he just looked and said what I already know in my plans was not included.Expensive and useless.
There is a Black Canyon store.
Hospital that looks like a hotel, lots of people, a lot of uniforms, few doctors. My husband was hospitalized for an important problem with unbearable pancreas pains never seen a doctor except that of the 'surgery, during the most watched day.The nurses after 20 unobtainable, to change a drip, I waited and called several times.Do not go if you do not have insurance before your name wants that. All difficult always after, .....
This place is another money making business. With a little injury, the emergency doc insisted to make an x-ray of my foot, although I said its not broken. At the radiation centre the nurses just talked to each other and one told the other to check messages for her when her phone rang and she prepared me. then suddenly the ran off into the room and started the x-ray without putting any protection on my body. When I asked them why, they just said it is not necessary, if I really wanted the vest as it is very heavy. So they were just too lazy to grab me a protection vest. This hospital has been overtaken by the Bangkok Hospital Group and so there is no competition for the good, but another money making business. Need to find another hospital for the future. Just go for Mission Hospital and small clinics.
This hospital only cares about money. It’s very sad to see what’s happened with the health service. Make sure you have good insurance who give a quick guarantee before you come here. If you are really sick they won’t attend to you until they get your MONEY. They will leave you rotting in a corner on deaths door unless you have money. This hospital has zero integrity!
I've been hospitalized here several times, unfortunately. Once they make sure that you can pay or you have an insurance, it's a 5 stars hotel, with nurses and doctors super attentive and patients. If you have the misfortune of being unprovided of an insurance (or a thick wallet) you will certainly hate it. I take this opportunity to tell everybody to take out an insurance policy before travelling to Thailand.
Thieves hospital and no amputee for their clients. Our family spent more than 1million baht, between my father for his teeth and cardiac monitoring because pesmeaker ... Service not able to give the right order ...Gynecologist follow-up for my wife diagnosing the doctor after pain in the abdomen. Great premature paid 1.5m from baht ... We did not have the sum we ran to vashirat only other hospital in Phuket that can handle the premature .... simple diagnosis temporary pains ....Today my 20-month-old son has an eye operated 40000bahts ... we see a Complication after the operation ... Against paid visit and finally the doctor does not recognize his wrong and accuses us of not having to immobilize our child of 20 months .......HOSPITAL TO AVOID LIKE THE PESTE !!!!DEAR AND THE SERVICE IS NOT AT ALL IN SUITABILITY WITH THE PRICE ... IMCOMPTENCE OF MANY DINTERVENANT !!!only correct service the dentist ......
Fantastic Hospital!! Our son had an allergic reaction to cashew nuts. We stayed the night with a very sick 2 yr old child. The staff were amazing! Better than Australian hospital's. A special thanks to our interpreter who made the task of contacting our travel insurance easy. Thank you so much! 👌👍❤
My boyfriend was sick from diarrhea and had fever for a few days. He finally gave in and went to see the doctor. However, the doctor didn’t make efforts to find the cause, gave him medicine and told him to come back when it got worse. He had to drive home with fever and diarrhea, and the doctor didn’t even admit him for diagnosis despite his health insurance coverage. I flew from Bangkok to see him in a really bad shape at his villa, he couldn’t even sit upright. I was really upset and called the hospital for explanation of the service. They showed the worst integrity. The nurses didn’t want to address the issue and tried to find someone to talk to on the case. I had to wait for someone to call back as they didn’t want to talk to me right away. When I finally spoke with the doctor, she said he only had three diarrhea’s and it stopped which wasn’t true. She said she didn’t treat the fever because he had paracetamol at home. I demanded to speak with a service manager and she went legal with me - telling they did everything by standard and he only had diarrhea for one day and no fever based on the medical record which was a prima facie evidence. It was not true, as he had fever and the doctor admitted it, the nurse told him he had fever and gave him a paracetamol. The record was somehow changed to show 37.1 from 38.1 which was what my boyfriend saw and he told me the previous day. They breached our trust and they didn’t handle the case professionally. We wouldn’t go back there a
World class hospital, quick attention, spoke English and got my allergic reaction sorted within an hour! Super clean, helpful and even gave me a blanket while I waited a whole 10 minutes to be seen. After medication, they made me wait 30mins just to make sure I was ok. Thoughtful and felt like I was in great hands! Thank you to all the nurses and Drs.
Good hospital. I will visit here again!
There are Japanese staff. They translate in English. The hospital is very clean and there are convenience stores, ATMs and coffee shops.A taxi will come at any time, so it's a hospital where you can visit.
Really disappointing. What is masked by friendly greetings and a flashy new building lies really slow, overpriced, lackluster results. I just wasted my whole morning here and spent a couple hundred dollars to get me no closer to finding out what's wrong. It's not like there are other options around but I really don't think the level of quality justifies the high price of service. Man, I'm upset. What a total waste.
Modern hospital Superior care In the city Beautiful place
Very clean and excellent staff Dr's all spoke English nurses very helpful. Important to have travel insurance or you will need your credit card.
Cute doctor, very beautiful hospital. The price is more expensive than other Bangkok hospitals. I don't know why.
Helpful service, doctors and nurse very friendly. If you need medical help chose this hospital
More like a production line where you are directed from one room to the next by young female nurses. One assumes they are qualified.Having done this for 3-hours you then get to meet someone you assume is a doctor/ specialist and he/she spends literally 2-3 minutes trying to get you to return and spend more than you’v Committed!Disappointing to say the least!!
warning ! scam there...i have checked in afternoon for 1 night the doctor was checked me and in the evening he come in the room and just ask ;;how are you tomorrow morning we will check ur blood again `` and for this charged me extra 2000 cash and in the morning the same just telling my blood test from day before and charge extra another 2200 baht...the same day the security waiting on my room ...bad service !
Is a hospital that has a high cost of treatment Looks luxurious like a good hotel. For customers who will have money to pay
Was driven to the Bangkok Hospital by Khao Lak with the ambulance, everything went great and my thanks go to the doctors and nurses.
I got a stomach ache and vomiting, I tried to treat myself with drugs that I had brought with me, but it does not pass I went to Bangkok Hospital Phuket, I was taken all of more and I'm very happy to be going there ..The hospital, the care is top, the team treating wellSo don’t be afraid, they’re on top.
Had to attend outpatient to get treatment. From entering the building the speed and efficiency at which we were processed was fantastic. From entering the hospital, seeing a doctor, to getting the percription filled was only 30 minutes. Better than any Australian hospital by far.
Can't rate the hospital globally, but my sister went through several surgeries, ICU and regular room for 3 weeks at 7th floor. Everyone involved was nice and all 4 doctors involved were amazingly experts and with great follow up of the evolution of my sister during her stay. They saved her life. Definetely a place to go if you need to (and your or your insurance can afford it).
We went there around 1am for our 2 year old, we were taken care of very quickly by a nurse, then we waited 30 min for the pediatrician, a woman, who gave us a quick diagnosis and a prescription, the pharmacy is on site, we paid all inclusive approx 1800 bath.
My boyfriend came here to see a specialist and get some imaging done on his leg. He went to 3 different specialists while they tried to diagnose him. I was so nervous thinking of the bills piling up as each doctor sent him to a new one. To our surprise, the doctors who couldn't help him did not charge him at all. He ended up requesting an ultrasound and the total cost for everything was about $300 USD. Each specialist would have cost hundreds in the USA along with the imaging and seeing a regular doctor for a referral.. Not to mention it would have taken weeks of going back and forth. I cannot recommend this place enough. We barely had to wait for anything and it was not crowded. The longest wait was just waiting to pay. No one tried to hard sell us anything. We also got some adult vaccines and they were very cheap compared to the states.
Wonderful dentists! We made almost all of our teeth here. Crowns (ceramics) are ready within 45 minutes after scanning. So the preparation of the tooth and the installation of the crown takes about 4 hours in total.
Went there with my girlfriend's daughter who is ten years old. She had nausea and vomited once the night before. She also had a light fever in the night. We wanted to rule out any tropical fevers at the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital in the morning, the fever was gone. After the physical examination an ultrasonic was made to check for a potential apendicitis. The test showed that the apendix was not abnormal. They wanted to keep her in the hospital overnight because she had one swollen lymph node. In my opinion they just wanted to make money off of tourists. I mean who keeps a person with light nausea and a swollen lymph node in a hospital? Also they wanted us to make a follow up appointment three days later which we declined as well as the overnight stay. The costs for the examination and the ultrasonic were 5000 baht. Not to think of the costs they would charge for a night there... I am sure that you would get the help you need at that hospital if you needed it and I am aware that without according insurance you will have to pay for everything. The facilities seemed okay, everything looked clean. But I also think that they really tried to make a big deal out of a small common infection to make more money which is despicable and morally wrong. I understand that taxi drivers are trying to rip off tourists but doctors should have higher standards.
So beautiful hospital.Good service. Professional healthcare , Good staff ,reasonable price. I recommend if you looking for the excellence international hospital in Phuket.
5 star medical facility.
The place is just thinking of money, keeping you longer needed. The night shift nurses sit and sleep on duty, taking in and sleeping for several nights in a row inside the ICU.
This was the fastest and most efficient visit to a hospital I’ve ever had! This evening I fell and couldn’t walk anymore. When I arrived the staff was so friendly and took good care of me. Got to see the doctor immedialty, 3 minutes later got into X-ray and got directly back to the doctor who had seen in the 3 minutes in between already my images. I appreciate the doctor knew quite well English, got some bandages and sprays and was done with everything in 30 (!!!) minutes. As a German I could just wish our hospitals could attend patients so quick and professional. Costs were less then 200 usd. The staff organized me a transport and even called again to confirm I was good on the way.
Waiting time for check up at women health dept was almost an hour each patient!
Doctor, nurse, kind, lovely, patient, convenient, fast, don't have to wait for a long time, the treatment is of high standard. Complete love equipment, track patients closely
Spent 2 hours there trying to get some understanding and be proactive about protocol in case we need to transfer the patient with specific health issues. Nobody can give us the answers and only push us away with couple emails address. I wouldn't want to imagine IF we actually have a real emergency how long would this takes! Unhelpful! Undecisive! I wouldn't want to go back there for even having a flu!
Friendly staff. The information desk on the 1st floor tells you about the symptoms and guides you to the appropriate treatment. He was guided to the otorhinolaryngologist due to eardrum damage on the plane. The English guidance service for foreigners is well done, and doctors also tried to deliver accurate information through Google Interpretation in areas where symptoms, medications, and communication concerns are concerned in English. The amount is expensive. Simple ear endoscopy, short medical treatment, and 5 days' taking medicines paid 240,000 won. After the second interview, about 50,000 won was paid. I have no choice but to expect foreign travel insurance.
I went to many times and it was good service. But I want to know. DNA testing?
We arrived here with fever and cough in a child (1 year old). Took very quickly. Looked listened. Did the washing. The hospital has a Russian-speaking assistant. I liked everything very much.
Great hospital with good service. We were here with a simple cold and went to wash punctures and went on a trip with rabies injections ...There were insurance. There are translators into Russian. The level of service is high.
I was hospitalized 3 days for an accident in a motorbike, operated on a finger with a positive outcome, unfortunately there was no fracture to the second metacarpal, I had to undergo an operation in the Italian hospital 2 months later.I contacted the Bangkok hospital to report the incident, they asked for details and medical certificates. I was expecting an apology that never came ... also because given the distance I won't be able to ask for compensation. Despite this, I have to thank the surgeon who saved my finger.
Over price. One big money machine. I did not have any blood tranfusion or 3 other thing they put on the bill...no go no good
AVOID THIS HOPSITAL LIKE THE PLAGUE. The most expensive, clueless, medical facility I have ever been in, I’m actually extremely upset that I chose to pay 100,000 baht for an operation that, yes I needed, but now I have concerns I’m getting attitude of the dr, because she’s made a mistake.. i now have to pay for the remedy!! Cheating legal scammers, do not use this hospital!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent facilities, fantastic staff. Results are always quick, minimal waiting around.
I'm writing about my experiences at the Dental Clinic at the Bangkok International Hospital in Phuket.Initially I was pleased with the dental treatment I received at the dental hospital.I was advised to get a root canal, veeners and crowns in August 2015.However soon after I returned to Australia one of my veeners came off. After another couple of weeks the veener on the other side came off. So two visits to my local dentist shortly after my arrival back home.Last year the crown came off my front tooth. When I went back to my dentist to get it put on, he found out by the X-rays he took that the root canal I had, was started but not completed! Also the crown could not be put back as it wouldn't last. So it would be a waste of money.I was very surprised by this as I paid for a root canal and that is what I expected to have received.I emailed the hospital and initially they apologized for it.However I then got a email from their dentistry hospital asking me to forward them an x-ray of my teeth. I did what they asked and included a picture of myself with a gap in the front of my teeth. I then received an email back from the hospital informing me that on the day of my root canal I was advised that a full root canal could not be done. I dispute this and my daughter who accompanied me does not recollect it either. I don't know if it was conveyed to me and I didn't understand because of the language barrier or not...However I was certainly not told that the crown would not last long be
Normal hospital, treated with insurance with a child, in principle, everything was fine. If necessary, there are translators. Doctors speak English quite well. If you are without insurance, then the prices are rather high, for taking a child within 10 minutes and extracting 3 cough syrups, the bill was 5750 baht
Came in barely able to stand from dehydration brought on by severe food poisoning. They charged me 8000 baht for only 1L of saline (I probably needed about 5L), didn't want to give me more than just a little bottle of water, and didn't even have a Dr. consult me afterwards to see if I was any better, which I wasn't. Make sure you have travel insurance (mine expired yesterday) or prepare to pay. Only saving feature is staff were nice and facility is too, otherwise this would be one star.
As I live both in Phuket and northern Italy. I have had the same treatments both at this hospital and in private unsubsidized private clinics in Italy (as no resident I don't have coverage there) and the conclusion is that for many things this and similar Thai “international” hospitals tend to be more expensive and no as good as the Italian counterparts. In particularly where imported equipment use is involved (any sort of laboratory and investigative high-tech tool). Even a simple abdomen UT is more expensive here.Doctors fees are lower here but so is the doctors professional level. The vast majority are very inexperienced freshly graduated, locally educated docs with very limited English ability. There is hardly any senior doctor around. I went for the same problems in both countries and the Thai experience was not worth and had to be repeated to get some results. Drugs price and availability is also a major problem. The drugs available here are a small fraction of what is available in the west. Newer drugs are not available and, in many instances, I could not find drugs I had prescribed in Italy or other countries I had lived in. If you find them, the drug prices are always higher, sometimes multiple times. Even a very basic over the counter Urinary Alkalizer for my girlfriend bladder infection could not be found anywhere in Phuket. At this hospital pharmacy they had it but I had to get an expensive doctor consultation, a prescription and then buy a very expensive bulk pac
Wonderful hospital. Good qualified staff. Doctors and staff at a decent level speak English.
Excellent welcome and high standards. Our daughter got sick and we were taken care of perfectly and with a big smile all the way. The facilities look state-of-the-art, clean and well organised. I don't recommend/wish anyone to go there but if you have to, it is about as good as it gets.
They said I had dengue fever and hospitalized me for 2 days the results came back negative and I'm still not getting better the bill is for 76000 bhat! Am leaving this "hospital" and going somewhere else!
I came because I had an earache, I was made to fill out papers and immediately I was referred to the ENT department. A very short wait to see the specialist and a quick intervention too.I stayed less than 1 hour in total. I still paid 4000THB but the drugs are included so it seems pretty decent given the service! No problem to be understood in English
Ridiculously over-priced for Thailand! It's designed to take advantage of tourists' higher income and health insurance. Do not go to this hospital unless fully covered by your insurance. Cut my finger and paid 6000 baht for simple stitches. 3800 baht was for doctor's fees (more like an intern with a needle). I strongly advise going to nearby Dibuk clinic instead. Went there a few years ago for similar treatment and paid about a tenth (that's why I didn't inquire about the price in advance at Bangkok Hospital, assuming the prices would be similar). In short, unless your situation is life-threatening, ask about the price (INCLUDING doctor's fees) in advance and know there are (much) cheaper options out there, at the same quality level. Never going to this place again; will have my stitches removed elsewhere (after asking for the price first).
Good hospital. Russian translators.
I just went to this hospital last week to see a dermatologist for an issue and problem was solved. Here's why I gave it 5 stars. It was clean, I was able to see a Dr within 15 min of arriving, the dr diagnosed my case correctly, gave me the right medication, and sure enough my problem was solved in 2 days. The cost was reasonable for the service I received.(I went to another hospital here last year and my issue was not diagnosed properly and I've had the issue since)I would only recommend people to go to this hospital after doing a bunch of research (your 2nd cheaper option is Phuket international). But after visiting both hospitals I'd say go to Bangkok Phuket hospital first.
Hurt, not comfortable, choose to come here, comfortable, excellent service, have insurance, do not worry about the cost of sleeping, VIP room, plus a waste of time
Expensive, quite clean compare to other Thailand hospitals, friendly staff, lots of different kinds of departments.
High prices, low service level. However, the level of doctors are good. But you can find the same in other, less promoted hospitals. My example: 7.01.2016. Arrived at hospital at 10:15 for procedure (easy) , 11:15 still sitting and waiting for nurses!!! And this is for 500 bath, for 3 minutes... Try to select less popular
Price is quite high But the service and patient care are very good
This hospital has changed my life. Seven implants, heaps of root canal treatments, no pain or after work for four years, this all for a quarter of the Australian prices. Quality workmanship, I would seriously recommend them. They make you feel save and secure. And..what a great chance to get out and learn how to dive and experience what the seas around Phuket have got to offer..!
I'm a Registered Nurse from Australia and went to this hospital with severe dehydration stemming from food poisoning. The treatment I received was not in line with best practice, and the facilities appeared poorly equipped for seriously ill patients.
My partner suffered a stroke whilst 3 days into our holiday in Thailand at Christmas 2016. We were advised by our hotel that if we had international holiday insurance to attend this private hospital despite it being a 40 minute taxi ride away. I cannot express enough how grateful we both are for the care that my partner received. From entering the A&E department the staff showed nothing but utter professionalism. Within 3 hours he had received routine bloods etc, standard x-rays, CT Scan, MRI Scan & an Echocardiogram (scan of his heart). He was then reviewed & diagnosed by a Consultant Neurologist & Consultant Cardiologist. I work for the NHS in the UK as a clinical nurse specialist & have done for 26 years. The care from admittance to discharge & follow-up was exemplary by all staff & so was our insurance company. At 52 years old it's not something that you'd expect to happen to your partner, our lives flashed before us, but the promptness & reassurances that was shown to us throughout our stay there certainly eased our concerns. We have been home a month & only this week has my partner been seen by a doctor in the UK... that's how long we have had to wait. This hospital comes highly recommended.
Well, that just drove by :)
This Hopital is a money making scam , Had an appointment yesterday and paid 1500 THB for the doctors evaluation fee plus the Prescription she wrote which was a blood pressure medicine . I bought the medicine after I left the Hospital , Took it in the evening and couldn't sleep all night , got very dizzy and a major headache until early morning . Went back in the morning just to see the same doctor 2 mins and explaining the issue , She changed my medicine and I went downstairs to the cashier . I received another bill for 1400 THB , which 1200 THB was evaluation fee again. Nowhere in the world you pay double evaulation fee for a case like this ! giving me the wrong medicine , all night suffered and to change the medicine you have to pay evaluation fee again ! What a SCAM !
We arrived with a wild cough and a choking child. 1year of us all, temperature 39. Quickly examined by a doctor on duty, said there was no threat to life and sent to the pediatrician. They put Croup - an inflammation of the trachea. Assigned adrenaline igalations with moistened oxygen and one injection of dexamethasone, took a smear for the virus and bacteria (after 20 minutes there was a result). No pills, antibiotics, nothing! The next day, the child is without fever, after another 2 days almost without coughing! We would be zipped ...
Best hospital in phuket
I was operated on urgently for a malignant carcinoma that I did not know I had of the intestine, with consequent puncture of the same, what to say 20 days of hospitalization more than masterful operation also said by the surgeons who later in Italy have re-analyzed me and superlative nursing care , 5-star hotel room, which I can try having it filmed, it is absolutely a modern and avant-garde hospital And modern, they saved my life
Good care and very nice staff. The doctors take time for the patients. Everything well organized, the supervisor regarding the insurance or costs speaks German.
2007 - Best hospital experience I have endured. Medical team and nurses both welcoming and professional. Spent 2 weeks as an inpatient and the following week as an outpatient. Allowed my friend to visit at any hours. Food and TV to a satisfactory standard. Had a private balcony from my room!
The ambulance of the children's clinic is well equipped. Perfect service. Good doctors, nice sisters. The whole staff can speak English very well. Waiting time was only a few minutes. Extensive examination with blood sampling whose results we got after one hour. Proper diagnosis.Absolutely recommended!
I drove by, well until it came in handy.
The hospital contacted the insurance for a long time from morning until evening. What's wrong?
Very good welcoming when we first arrived at the hospital. All the employers we spoke to had really good english, polite and were very helpful (Receptionist, nurses and the doctor). Had a good ear examination and the rashes that I came for. Very trustful hospital! ( I visited 3 hospitals during my vacation and this was by far the most professional one.)
I was 1 week hospitalized with dengue. Doctor passed only once in the morning. Indescribable nurses. If you needed you had to call a minimum of 3 times, then maybe they came, very slow to Thai. Not kind and uncaring. I couldn't wait to leave ...
This hospital is so good the best, in decmber 2014, l had a femur fracture witch they inserted a gamma nail to repair, they staff and doctors there were so good, when l returned to Australia and seen the orthopaedic surgoen at the hospital he said no one could have done a better job, so from me once again a big thankyou to the Bangkok Phuket international hospital and many thanks to Dr Kanison Chaimaneekorn, you people are the best, thankyou so much l highly recommend.
While the quality of care is generally good, they have always pressured us to see specialists for problems that clearly don't need them. It's pretty clear that the only reason they do this is to squeeze as much money out of their patients as possible. If there was any other clinic in Phuket that could serve us in English, we wouldn't bother coming here.
Good clinic. There are translators, taxis
Very unprofessional service. The doctors and nurses are very passive. They never come unless you call them. Lack of empathy. When the nurses came, they never asked if we were okay even though we were in so much pain. They only talked about fee and insurance. Even if you have surgery in the afternoon, the surgeon will not visit you in the morning to explain about the surgery. We finally told them we decided to move to another hospital, and the doctor never visit us again after that. In the end, we never met the surgeon. Not sure if the surgeon exist. We also received the wrong invoice. They were also trying to charge us for something that we were not supposed to pay for. Very unprofessional !
Best hospital in Phuket. Make sure your foreign insurance will cover it, as the top service costs top Baht. For kids the best. Also a great dentist department there.
I went to this hospital after an ear infection. I had to meet a specialist (an ENT). The reception was very fast and efficient. They accompanied me throughout my visit which lasted about 1 hour: in this period I had the time to see the medical specialist, do some tests and receive my medication. The hospital is very clean and modern. The staff speaks good english.Nothing to say negative.
Great hospital. Very big. Doctors speak excellent English. There are translators into Russian.
Expensive, service is not reasonable, price is slow, like asking for more medicine
Went to a dentist for usual stuff all good. Was recommended crowns with a follow up appointment with another dentist in same section the following . Arrived for the appointment and was asked what is my problem. Dont you habe my file I came yesterday was given a quotation of 40,000 for 2 crowns and you ask me ?The bossy reaction from the dentis called tomo made me feel was better to get off the chair and look for another place
The service is ok. Nothing to complain. Prices are extremely high, when you are a foreigner. I highly prefer the Mission Hospital in Phuket. In Mission Hospital you get the best value for your money. I never felt overpriced, there.
Simply excellent there is no other adjective that can better describe its qualities
Very good service. Impressed.
Good translator Eugene.
Despite the bad memory of my accidental fall. fracture of the humerus. I keep the pleasant memory of the care provided at the hospital, the kindness of the nursing staff. the presence of the surgeon and the valuable help of the coordinators. the quality of the hospital. I hope and think that I have been very well cared for and operated on.because inevitably far from home with the problem of the language there is always a worry. ..but ultra modern hospital and famous.I trust.
I had RLE lens replacement surgery there in March. Great job...and great price! No more reading glasses :)
Can be very hectic and you need a lot of patience. The staff are always nice and friendly. Best regards
Excellent service but getting more and more expensive
Very modern facility with extremly friendly and caring staff! Rooms are all modern with high standard features to meet all patients requirements. Very good and skilled plastic surgeons giving precise and relaible diagnoses. I'd like to thank Dr. Poonsak in particular for fixing my face with very good stiching, leaving no recognizable scares...
Stroke last gristmans in phuket .. Now this better..Thank you very match...
My friend was here with broken leg, the care of this hospital was amazing and better than in my country. Thank you Petr
It is very expensive and old system. I asked for a scanned copy and needed them to send me by e-mail but they refused and tell me that that didn't have a scan copy machine.
Very fast, professional, friendly, and knowledgable. Clean, modern facility well ventilated and air conditioned, comfortable seating with charging plugs and free wifi. Couldn't ask for more.
Bangkok Hospital2014
Absolutly amazing I ended up in ICU in June 2012 and had to stay in for 4 days my husband also stayed with me all he has done is praised the hospital to our family and friends since we returned to Australia. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Excellent service excellent room amazing beautiful staff. Going to go back in April to get some personnal work done. Thats how much I am satisfied with the doctors and the staff and the hospital.
I turned to them for a severe pain caused by a cyst on the left instep and after the visit, the doctor told me it was to be removed, but I had to give consent for the intervention in local asnesthesia.Having to stay a month more here in Phuket, I decided to operateWithin an hour a free operating theater was found and I underwent surgery without any pain (apart from anesthesia injection). All the staff I came in contact with were very kind and professional.
Ill give it a score of 2, as you do get whet you came here for, medical attention..And they did a god job on me and my girlfriend. So things you as a visitor, need to know.1. At 18.00-19.00 A clock, its closing time, pretty much the hole thing shuts down.. LOL2. At 18.00-19.00 There is no longer any food services at this PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL hospital, yes no room service, no food, nothing, so don't come here late or get hungry after 19.00.. LOLSo you must resort to getting food fro out side scores, and what can then happen?Well lets just say you better not be real sick, and then get some bad food on top from out side, then you might get even more bad, or even worse..in a country where you can have a cook for 15.000 baht pr month, all night long cooking what ever the guess wants, one can wonder why they have saved that money..3. The food have have tasted here are, just okay and nothing more, nothing special or good, you can eat it. I would have expected more form a 3-400 room private hospital, that calls it self international4. Standard room 1 bad + a sofa, they say you can sleep 2 in the room, so one needs to stay on the sofa, its CRAP!5. Modern, yeah maybe, but used, my bathroom has at least 3 broken things in it and there are ants, and a broken light bulb in the room to. don't expect it to be a 4 or 5 star accommodation/hotel!Any way don't get me wrong, im so happy with the service, the doctors, nurses, personal here are great, friendly and all that, i just wanted to let th
Amazing doctors and nursing staff. They have saved my life on more than one occaision.
Good Doctor Good Nurse Good Hospital and Excellent Service
A little out of the way, but staff doctors great, handle tourist insurance cases efficiently and rooms and facilities second to none. You have a choice of food and accommodate one relative in patient's room. Room service and café also available.
