Following a road accident, I was treated by the fantastic team at Mission Hospital for 10 days. On arrival you must fill out a file (150bahts) and do not forget your passport. You will be asked if you have insurance. The staff are English-speaking and very cheerful. Everything is extremely well organized and organized and you never wait very long as there are staff. I arrived at this hospital for a rabies vaccine at 2:00AM. The door to the taxi was opened for me like I was arriving at a 5 star hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke perfect English. I was in and out in no more than half an hour and was charged a reasonable price. Was charged ฿1,600 for a check over by a dr, first rabies shot, antibiotics and hospital fees. I went back for my second shot and it cost about ฿800 I would definitely reccomend this hospital.

The visit to the hospital was to be a stop for cleaning and dressing during the final trip to Thailand where a few days ago I had injuries on a scooter. The insurer directed us to the hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, the staff refused to accept me until the visit was confirmed by the insurer. Staff told us to call another country from a hospital phone. We also did so to speed up the process of waiting for dressing changes. The doctor informed us about the cost of 1000bah, we agreed because we do not pay. After painful cleansing and application of several plasters and bandases, the bill was almost 2000 bah. At the exit, we heard that we have to pay extra for the phone number that we made to the insurer. We disagreed. The next day, the dressing also had to be replaced. After requests, the dressings were applied better.
I had an emergency and I am so thankful that the doctors acted so quickly. Surgery was quickly done. I had to stay in hospital for 5 days afterwards. Everything was clean and tidy. All the nurses and doctors were super kind, helpful and patient. The communication was not always the best because of bad English but still everything worked out well. Everyone from the staff was really polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend that hospital - German Tourist

I have spent time in this hospital on two different occasions. The first was in September of 2017 when I had a serious infection in my urinary system. The 6 days I was in the hospital were peaceful and pleasant due to the wonderful, attentive care I was given. I had a private room with a bed for my wife, good vegetarian food, and excellent medical care. The total cost was less than $4000 USD.My second trip was a scheduled hand surgery in January 2018. Dr. Chinundorn (SP?) did surgery on my hand to allow a digit to straighten. I spent five days in residence and the total cost was, again, under $4000 USD with the same attention to high quality detail and service.

Nothing fancy but they get the job done! Dr. Nick Walters is a great doctor from the US, trained at Loma Linda University. He is very kind and isnt afraid of sharing his time and knowledge with his patients. He normally spends more than half hour with his patients, familiarizing himself with your health problems. His knowledge of medications is extensive.
Please avoid this hospital...the staff seems dony know and dont care about my problem and they dont speak english! Really bad after 3 hours with stomach pain i left to go to another hospital!!!
My experience here was quite positive. I was in bad health landing from Kolkata but not in an emergency condition . It was not crowded here, and after the usual procedures I could see an experienced doctor completely fluent in English. The staff at all level was also fluent, especially the female staff. I was treated with fluids (in a drip) for 6 hours, had stool parasite check, and was given medicines. The hospital was in the list of hospitals listed in the Lonely Planet and close to my gh in Phaya Thai.

Staff in office is unpolite and doesn't speak one word of English!They are shrewd and always think about money first.. and then maybe about your health. They will suggest you to stay at the hospital longer ..just for make your bill rich! And after that, they probably tell you that don’t have any basic room available… so again more expensive bill for you (or for your insurance!)Food is Not healthy… after a gastroenteritis they gave us fries! They keep your PASSPORT like hostage until you paid. The deposit, will be NOT Refundable, but just a part of the final check.
Very good for pediatrics, my nephew's strong dysentery cured. I thank the doctors who cured him. Very clean and very efficient staff. The canteen is very clean and very welcoming.
Private hospital, if you are sick and travel in Bangkok don't go here. They want to keep you more days and do lot of unnecessary exams for the symptoms, they just try to find a way to get more money from you and your insurance and, most important, they keep in hold your passport until you or your insurance pays the treatments. I don't think this is a legal procedure. Anyway structure, machines and methodologies are old.
One of the best hospitals in Bangkok, and has saved many lives of which other hospitals had given up on. They have international doctors, healthy food, great staff, and a nice park behind the hospital with dormitories for nursing students. Expensive, but you'll be getting the best care. Definitely recommend this place. They are the best for any tropical diseases.
It's a great hospital with staff that speak English. People are very friendly and always willing to help.
I can't say enough about Mission Hospital. More than forty years ago I came down with food poisoning while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The Peace Corps put me into Mission Hospital and I was up and about in a matter of a couple of days. Now as a retiree in Bangkok, I go to Mission Hospital for my general medical and dental needs. I also receive treatment for my epilepsy there. The staff and doctors at Mission Hospital are happy, helpful, and competent. It is a wonderful mix of the spiritual and the scientific proving that both can be done for the benefit of all the sick and the needy.
Helpful kind and fast staff. Very clean and pro. Got there for an ingrown toe nail. 15min later I was covered in desinfectant and lots of attention. They probably overcharge a bit on antibiotics even if not necessary cause they know you have an insurance but the care was very good. Everybody speaks excellent English. Almost no waiting time. It's OK pricing wise for western Europeans but I guess for locals that might be expensive.
This hospital is opened 24 hours but doesnt have enough stuff to slove my problem with insurance. They closed me in the office room with computer with no stuff in and forced me to find email from insurancer. Stuff in office is unpolite and doesn't speak English can't make simple thinks like call or even checking email or turning on computer. I felt like one of the stuff saving and printing my documents collect all thinks to be able come back home after 3 hours of waiting. Never come back
Amazing hospital excellent services. Food here is very healthy. There's also a beautiful garden behind the hospital to take your kids for a walk.

I had dental implants done here 1 year ago. Am going back soon to have more dental work done. Excellent service, work and costs much less than in Australia. And I get a holiday into the bargain. Enjoy the Thai vegetarian on offer at the cafe at street food prices. Everything very clean and hygienic. I do recommend making bookings via email as trying to discuss dental details etc by phone makes for lost in translation situations. Have now had my sister and brother-in-law (who is seriously afraid of dentists) use them and they are also going back for more work soon. The dentists are so gentle!!
Good hospital to go to. Small enough to be friendly. There is a nice cafeteria there also. I would be just a little bit wary of some of the doctors running unnecessary tests, but this is a strategy done by all hospitals anyway.
Staff spoke good English. Doc Walters is the best. Wife and I feel like we are back at fort Meade's medical facility. Nice to have this comfort being retired and living here.
Great service! My girlfriend got food poisoning and our health insurance recommended us this hospital. Since we're from Europe we were really affraid how are we gonna be treated there. I can say only all the best about this hospital. Fast reception, excellent care and skillful staff.

We stayed there for three days as guests when we attended a seminar held in a conference hall in the hospital compound. I should say that the housekeeping, maintenance of facilities, and cleanliness in particular, are all praiseworthy. We also deeply appreciate the cafeteria services.
