Had an eye injury and advised by Thai friend to go here as they provide good service and speak good English. I booked in which went smoothly, make sure you have your passport. Waited about 40 minutes before I saw doctor, but that's fine. Doctor very efficient and diagnosed corneal abrasion, she even let me take pics of the cut to my iris. Treated and prescribed prophylactic antibiotics. Bill came to 685 Baht, about £17 and this included the prescription charge. Excellent value. I was in and out in about 80 minutes. I would go again.
I injured my knee and went to Chiang Mai RAM hospital for treatment. The service was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, everybody was very caring, very efficient and spoke great English. With minimal waiting time I was able to see an orthopedist. After a thorough exam he sent me for an x-ray and scheduled an MRI the next day. They obviously cannot bill an American insurance company, but they do offer a membership card with, I believe, a 10% or 20% discount. The cost was still substantially less than I was expecting to pay. It was a great experience considering I injured myself in a foreign country.
Clean, efficient and friendly service by a staff that largely speaks English. The wait in the ER was fairly short compared to most NY hospitals I've been to. They were all very helpful and I appreciate their care. Highly recommended to tourists or expats.
