Their foods very delicious, both patients and LG cafe, during my admission. The staffs also very friendly, very recomended.
VERY VERY BAD experience here. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED with the services and the nurses. Spent RM11,000 in total. Was simply charged a 2 nights stay in hospital without giving proper explanation of the charges. Brought my mum here for a checkup on the first day and she was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. Paid RM700++ just for some blood test, laboratory investigation and consultant from doctor. Doctor asked us to come back the next day 9am (appointment arranged) for a more detailed check up whether there are tumors inside her liver. (I'm totally fine with this)The next day we came, my mum was told to do a full body scan and also do endoscopy, she was then sent into day care room (RM75 a day) to prepare for scanning. Around 10:30am, my mum has done the body scan and doctor say the lung has many water retention, he suggest us to go for detailed check up for lung department. And says that its better to do a small operation to remove the water inside the lung (basically just a needle injection at the back of the body). Ok, we trust the doctor and agreed to do that. And the doctor says it only took 1-2 hours to remove the water. So my mum lied on the bed for almost two hours, non of the nurses/doctor in charge came. I went to ask the nurse whether its done, they say need to wait for doctor. Ok fine, doctor finally came around 3pm, and says that he need to take the water packs for investigation, and the report will come out soon and the lung doctor in charge will come to talk to us r

Ladies and gentlemen... If you don't want to have bad experience in hospital... Take good care of your body... My aunty had problem with nose.. So went to this hospital to solve the problem..visit a nose specialist doctor if not mistaken.. After scanning the nose.. Doctor can't find anything.. And just say have no idea why my aunty have this problem.. Such unprofessional answer.. And paid Rm 500 without any good consultation..
Where shall I start?1. Poor admin staff, incredibly inefficient. They always forget to ask for insurance details when registering. So they always try to hit me with a bill at the end of the visit.2. They are very slow to seek approval from insurance provider. I found my self waiting for hours to receive treatment. The worst part was that my son’s treatment was delayed by 5 hours!!!! Not a single person explained to my wife that they’re waiting for insurance approval. I would have paid cash to expedite the treatment. This kind medical negligence is life threatening!3. A&E, long waiting time. A bit like the NHS hospitals in the UK. On two occasions, they have suggested I try a different hospital! Unbelievable!4. Don’t expect a call from doctor with test results, you have to chase it up.I could go on and on.Only positive is that the doctors are half decent from my experience. It’s a shame that the service is let down by incompetent administration.Sadly this is the nearest hospital in the Puteri Harbour area.UPDATE 26/05/2020So this time my wife wanted to see a Gastroenterologist, so we called in the morning and tried to make an appointment. The lady on the phone said that we did not have to make an appointment and can come in as a “walk-in”. So based on that advice, we walked in. Only to be told that the doctor wasn’t available and that we must make an appointment for two days later. Another example of poor hospital management. Utterly incompetent and complacent.
I am not satisfied with the behavior of one of the cashiers. Upon registration, i clearly mentioned, I had a GL which was already emailed to the hosp. I emailed again upon request. At the cashier, I was still asked to pay. Asked to pay is one thing, but the cashier’s attitude was worse. I was blamed for not informing. I defended myself but was dismissed quickly. I have been to many hospitals SJMC, Avicena, Prince Court, just to name a few, but never with this kind of attitude.
I am seeing Dr Hon for my routine pregnancy check up. She is kind and professional, most importantly she’s a UK trained fetal medicine specialist. She has also previously worked in SG’s NUH for years. Her expertise makes me feel safe as not all OBGYN are fetal medicine trained. In fact, I haven’t seen any in JB. She’s a genuinely patient-centered physician who’s hard to come by in private sector. She does not provide untrue advices or unnecessary recommendation to her patients. As a healthcare professional myself, I highly recommend Dr Hon to all couples for IVF care, Normal/Complex Pregnancy, and other concerns for Fetal Wellbeing.

Emergency reception.. the worst place to be. First, how can a receptionist say that there is no medicine for kids that is having high fever and has been declared with influenza A from a clinic. This is really unprofessional and after being sound they tend to take action. Temperature of the child is 40degrees. Still have the audacity to say to us as a parent to go to other place.. Gleaneagles is charging so much money on patients but poor service . Management please check on your admin receptionist behaviour. This is a worldwide specialist and if this is carried on it will be the worst. Bosses of the specialist please take strict action on this.
Great Service checking in and very good Dr.Kam Jiyen. However the checking out and payment is very slow.
1. Experience doctor but not professional. Keep advising pregnant lady to induce or c-section to cater their own schedule. 2. Hygiene level need to improve. Food delivered to my wife with baby cockroach crawling around the tray. Hence I’m sure your kitchen cleanliness level is quite low. If you charge this amount, please make sure you give 5 star goods and services to the patient.

The worst experience ever,since 1300hrs till now(2042hrs) they still let me wait with the reason no bed.ex specially in emergency. The insurance company Evan had came up with the approval very fast but i don't understand y should i need to spend so much hrs in reception. Isn't they going to charge for all this hrs right????Horrible. And Evan a lot of negative feedback had found here,i was curious is the hospital management really look in to it????
The service of the staff nurse is very good, the doctor is also ok. Ade exempt sketch out bill xde name of doctor incharge masce emergancy, then staff pun x sure name of doctor.

From nurses to doctors to administrations to car park..all are lousy.Bad experience in labour room..Even billing dept are too slow..Dont get caught by the so called "high-end private hospital".Its all about money-making..Their concern is all abt money..not the welfare of patients.Doctors and nurses are not professional at all! No patience..no passion at all. I doubt the nurses there are qualified ones.If u ask me..better go to cheaper hospitals.They dont deserve even a star!
their emergency is not emergency at all. servis very slow. and the medical team not so responsive and not enough experience. took me more then 30 minutes to make payment while the time is at 1130pm almost mid night. and not many patients also. why took so long to generate a bill.

You have to be careful. Don't expect it's Singapore. If you go to ER even with broken neck it will take 1 hour to process you and foreigners they would treat you unless you deposit RM2,500. The ER staff are just receptionist when you arrive so they don't know what to do with you except wait until it's your que and if an assistant is free to check you in and they haven't a clue what to do with you but ask questions and allergies and weigh you in. Then another 30-50min to get into their rooms and the doctor will get more info then proceed to treat you. Best thing to do is call the ambulance when it's a broken next or trama injury. Don't drive to ER you will die as they are very slow to process you and they want payment upfront. Also get second opinion from local hospitals like KPJ. But be careful what medication your given some have horrific side effects.
Good and clean hospital. Best in Johor Bahru. Has been visiting here for past 3 years for medical treatment. If you are covered with insurance coverage for Malaysia and Singapore, no issues with deposit and reimbursement. But if none, we will find it expensive compared to Singapore where we can utilise our medisave and medishield. Highly recommended the resident doctor Siti Kamariah Othman who specializes in Respiratory Medicine.
Poor service , waited for very long at emergency
first ,want to many thanks to dr chum he is very professional when my child just admit. when insert hanging needle very fast done it in one time.second, all the nurses were friendly & well trained. my child vomit medicine 3 times, nurse insist medicine cant less must eat all , and i didnt see any unhappy appear on her face. everytime ring the bell, nurse will coming in 5 minutes promptlythird, very satisfy on they giving 2 set foods separate mummy & child foods.only 1 thing unsatisfy is we stay there 3 days and have been request want to change bedsheet but in this 3 days didnt come to change bedsheet at all. child always will vomit milk at bedsheet bcoz sick. tat is only 1 i feels disgusting cant acceptable . so far if compare with others private hospital , it is enough 5 ★ .

This hospital is filled with greedy money grabbing administrators who only wants to take advantage of sick patients. They will gladly admit you for even a fever. My daughter went for a dengue check up that costs RM1,200 in Gleaneagles and it is not claimable by insurance because it is outpatient. A normal GP will only charge RM60. Ultimately it was just a high fever.When she was not better she went for another check up which she was immediately admitted. More check ups ensued. I forcefully checked her out and asked a friend to take her to a normal clinic. The bill for blood test in Gleaneagle was RM700+. The clinic was only RM68. These people in Gleneagles are unscrupulous. My daughter is studying there and they took advantage of sick students. Please dont ever use Gleneagle. Parents with children in Johore, beware of this hospital. I wish I can claim back the money and make a complaint to the Ministry of Health.

Dr. Cheong Wai Seng is a very well skilled and good hearted nephrologist. There might be a lot of hearsay that this hospital is good or that hospital is no good from people around you. But, believe me don't see the big name of the hospital, but whom is the doctor that will treat you. We are from Indonesia and I have brought my mom to visit few specialist hospitals in Malaysia for treatment of her diabetic and related complications. I can say that Dr. Cheong from Gleaneagles Medini is much more better compared to previous ones. He is well skilled and the most importantly that he is a specialist whom truly care about human health and kind hearted which is very rare nowadays. I'm writing this review because I hope that more people will get helped when looking for the right specialist to treat diabetic and related complications, as previously despite getting recommendation from friends, I oso rely on google and social network reviews before deciding to bring my mom to that hospital or not. Since most of the reviews for hospitals is no good, so we have to try one by one. Thank you Dr. Cheong and his friendly nurse assistant.
Good hospital and doctor, but admission is taking more then 3 hours which is totally not acceptable
Called to consult as we've got referral from another doctor to see a brain specialist and to prepare for MRI scan. But the nurses passed the phone around 6 times to student clinic! And all of them seems not willing to even let me consult a doctor. I've repeated my story 6 times and then I told the last nurse I've been passed on the line for 6 times. She took my details and without letting me know which specialist she works for nor her name but told me she'll call back after discussing asking themselves to recommend me a "suitable doctors".Seriously, I doubt you have the right person to do the job. I don't mean the doctor here but the rest of the service provider.
Any emergency case pls don't come here. Very low efficiency.
I don't recommend you to come to this hospital. My mother calls the nurse to call you for half an hour. The nurse is willing to get the oxygen mask. My mother is the inflammation of the tonsils. No voice. What is the use of equipment? The service attitude is so bad. If the patient’s unexpected situation is not finished? ? For the first time, I feel that government hospitals will be worse than private hospitals!
The administration process for registration and discharge is damn too long. Waited for hours, patient is already unwell but needed to wait so long for administration process. Please consider to speed up the process, think from the side of patients whom is already sick but still need to wait so long. Can understand if a lot of people is queing, but there is less than 10 peoples. Can u imagine how long it will take if a lot of people waiting? Since so little people needed to wait so long.
THIS IS THE BEST HOSPITAL I EVER WENT. THE DOCTORS AND NURSES ARE SO KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. WILL RECOMMEND YOUR SERVICE TO MY COLLEAGUES AND FAMILY. KEEP UP YOUR GOOD JOB.
Good hospital but poor doctor. Bad experience seeing a pediatrician for my 2 months old. Unprofessional doctor.
Good day,My rate and comments for the hospital and the docs are very good. Some things need to be improve:-1) The admission and insurance part is very very damm slow and was waited about 4 hours and also no calls from insurance department after my insurance was approved till I came and find out myself at the counter since they was inform me will give me a call.2) Cleanliness, I noticed that in the wads ceiling is very dusty and find some dead cockroaches on the side tables and cubboard got spider webs (Wad 4B room 435A)3) Shower stall tiles grouting elgie need to be clean. 4) Pantry room at wad 4B hot water dispenser tap leaking since the day I was admitted I noticed and no changes till the date I discharged. 5) There is no Tamil Chanel in TV.6) Changing for bedspread timing need to be change, 7.30am is too early. If patients sleeps nobody approach them. 7) Auto drips machine nobody keep track after fix to the patient and making noise especially at the night time after drips finish.8) Customer service need to be improve and trained them as well.9) Placed trained people at admission counters. Lastly my special thanks to doctor Devaraj neurological and doctor Sarmad ENT, they have done excellent consultation and surgical for me. Also very friendly and good in explaining about the surgical process. The hospital should be great honor to have both of them. Brought my mom for health screening. Slow and uncoordinated service. Inexperienced nurse failed to draw blood twice and decided to draw on the back of hand, causing a big patch of bruise on my mom’s dorsal side of hand. The poking was also unusually painful and caused bigger punctured wound than usual even at the antecubital area which is the common venepuncture site. A few drops of blood splashed on the floor and no one bothered to clean.After blood drawing, arrived at the imaging area while there was only 2 patients waiting before us. Waited 2+ hours just to have an x Ray and was told to go back as they had forgotten that she has been queueing for ultrasound. Waited another half an hour to get to do the ultrasound as there were many patients came later than us been arranged to the queue before us.
I'm so happy with the service given. I would like to give up to 10⭐. The staffs and Doctors are so kind. Continue your good work. 'In the arms of who cares'
Don't be blundered by theirs ads or affordable medical package. Later they will overcharged you with a lot of equipment and other fee without your consent. As well with the very uncoordinated slow service.

Stayed 1 day at the 1bedder for a minor surgery. Room was spacious and clean. Staff nurse and doctors are very nice and comforting as well. Special thanks to Dr Rohaida from the Gynaecolgy dept for making me felt well taken care off. The only few minor improvement to take note of.1. The aircond in the room 308 was too cold despite it was at the highest temp. Needed to on n off it throughout the night to regulate the temp.2. Blanket was really thin for night stay. Requested for 2.Medical staff service level is very good, just a minor improvement in the aircond would be great.

As reviewed by others, service is poor and slow !! Admission taken about 3 and half hours while discharge also take about 3 hours. Public always have the wrong mindset of the more expensive, the more services you will be granted. That's why this hospital is always full house. Because Johorean is very rich since working in Singapore.We are paying premium prices to gleneagles medini (the highest charges in johor), but return with lowsy services. Don't being cheated by their strategy. You might attracted with their single room fee, RM250 per night with spacious room space.However, you will be surprised with their overcharged hospital charges in later part because this is not regulated by government. Hospital can overcharge you with equipment/ instrumentation, medical & surgical supplies, medications, and even laboratory test charges. Medicine was few times more expensive than retail price in any pharmacy outside there.Its work same like the car workshop, where once you admitted and you will not able to escape and being slaughtered. If i was given another chance, i would definitely 100% choose other private hospital, like kempas medical center, KPJ, regency hospital and e.t.c. i believe even public hospital might better than gleneagles.Also, I heard my friends said that lot of nurse has resigned and went to other places e.g. KPJ bandar dato onn, due to their management personnel is sucks

Worst ever private hospital I ever came across. Nightmare start with the bunch of idiot in the information desk. Given me a wrong information and direct me up to the clinic in level 5. At level 5, clinic not open till 2pm. Waited and when it finally opened, we're told to register at the main lobby. Why can't they tell me to register at the first place. Here only 3 out of 10 desk functioning. Was told that tomorrow is public holiday? WHAT? Is this their culture here? Waited for almost another hour to get registered. Finally, voice my frustration to the clinic nurse. This idiot challenge me to write in. A total disappointment. Never judge a book by it outside cover. This hospital is fully of moron.

Service is so poor & bad. Basically, everthing we have to do it by ourselves. Their nurse's are not helpful. This hospital is going to be my last option if the other hospital is full.
Gleneagles Medini is the epitome of a third-world hospital with third-rate doctors. We consulted Dr. Andrew Gunn Kean Beng. He has possibly the worst attitude of any doctor we have ever met. He is condescending and his skills as a general surgeon leaves much to be desired. Please consider investing the time, effort, and money in consulting a real doctor over the causeway (in Singapore), instead of putting up with this third-world garbage of a person. He has neither the qualifications nor the reputation to behave with such pomposity and arrogance. I wonder why Gleneagles would lend its name to a team of third-world-trained doctors with degrees from Malaysian universities. Dr. Gunn is the embodiment of the classic Napoleon Complex. Never consult him. Unless you wish to be sold on outdated medical practices and a slew of errors in judgment. He ordered a CT scan instead of a PET/CT scan to screen for a potential cancer. This is just one example of bad judgment and planning. It also takes more than a week for an immunohistochemistry report to be done here. Whereas it can be done in 2/3 days in Gleneagles Singapore. Again, third-world hospital with third-world efficiency. Oh, and his English is atrocious.You only live once. You don't want it to be in the hands of Dr. Gunn. Trust me.

14/9/2017 …… I stayed in the hospital for four days. I am grateful to the doctors and nurses in the hospital for taking care of me. I am a rare blood type patient "O-" who was admitted when my BH fell only 2.7. My doctor "Dr. Kan Foong Kee" he was very responsible to help me find the blood and find the cause, and he tried to help me find a doctor to discuss my condition. At the middle of the night, I was in critical condition. He immediately returned to the hospital to see my condition. This hospital was where I lived. Well, the best medical service doctors and nurses since many hospitals are also very good hospitals, but they are much slower in handling discharge procedures than other hospitals ...
Although it is first-class equipment, the service is the worst hospital. The nurses talk more than tea and will not obey the great caring doctors. The doctor prescribed the medicine in the morning and the nurses did not send them to the ward all day. The patients do not have those medicines. This is a serious medical negligence. Who dares to go to your hospital? Knowing that you are about to leave the hospital, I am afraid that you will run away. I have been asking you three times or four times to rush to pay. I feel insecure and shameful when living in your hospital. What about first-class equipment? It's ridiculous!
