I had excellent experience with Dr Lavina and Dr Ahmad. Both were very professional and good in communication. My case was a big workshop, 4 implants, 3 crowns and other interventions... I went to this clinic last week and Wow they are serious about safety. Took my temperature,ask me to use hand sanitizer ,gave me a form to fill up about my whereabouts and health.All the staff was with full gears some Sci Fi type of masks with big filters on the side,face behind shields.The patient before me came out from surgery and then they fog the surgery with some antiseptic thing.Overall,this made me feel safe that I am at right place and safe taking the treatment.Dr Ahmad was extremely gentle and polite,made me understand about the treatment and answer all my questions satisfactory.Price was very reasonable too.I recommend to everybody who needs dental treatment visit Utama Dental,you will have great experience.Thank you Dr Ahmad and team for taking care of me during Covid 19 Pendamic.

I'm Agnes from Sibu. Thank you Dr. Ahmed for helping me solve my many years of trouble. When I was fifteen years old, there was a serious car accident. My incisors came off, and I took two years of dentures and 15 years of dental bridges. In 2018, the doctor said that my dental bridge had reached the end of its life and could not be brought anymore. It was also because of the dentures and dental bridge that it also caused my other teeth to be damaged. I also asked a lot of doctors, and they couldn't give me a good solution. Until my husband went online to help me find Utama Dental Surgery. We saw that Utama dental's reviews are very good, so I felt like giving it a try. After DR Ahmed looked at me, he told me that my situation was quite serious. After consulting with the doctor, I decided to remove all my upper teeth before implanting them. I pulled out a total of 7/8 teeth. The first operation took about seven hours, and the second operation took about four to five hours. There was no pain during the operation. The operation was very successful and the medicine was superb. DR Lavina also helped me with root canal treatment. I followed up for about a year and finally finished it. Thank you DR Ahmad, DR Lavina, DR Muzamir, Madam Ramla and the professional team. Thank you for giving me confidence and having a sweet smile. Dr Lavina was very patient and clearly explained to me all the available options I had before advocating the best treatment. I really appreciate the time she took to evaluate my dental condition and that she ensured that I understood her explanation as well. Unlike some Dr's who will prescribe the most expensive treatment option, I felt Dr Lavina's treatment suggestion was genuine and not just to make a quick buck! I found Utama Dental online and so glad I did. I needed major dental work done and Dr Ahmed and his team worked wonders for me to have the perfect smile. When I first walked in their I had gaps all throughout my teeth, I was missing several adult teeth and I had a very gummy smile, I was embarrassed and covered my mouth whenever I smiled or laughed. I now have I think 7 implants in my mouth and 8 crowns and counting. I’ve completed two trips from Perth, Australia and have one more major trip coming up to finish off the crowns. Dr Ahmed went through what size implants we were using and why by showing me an in-depth analysis of my xrays. On top of my implants and crowns I have also been subject to gum lazering, tooth extraction, a sinus lift and grinding back of my teeth. All this with little to no pain. Something I thought I would be in absolutely agony and couldn’t eat for weeks. I was better in days thanks to their consistent care and advice. I can not recommend Dr Ahmed and his team enough. They have done wonders for my smile and confidence that I never thought possible. Before I never smiled and now I smile at everyone I see. What a dream come true.

Dr. Lavina eased my fears when i finally decided to just have the wisdom tooth removed. For many years I've been wanting to remove it but with the bad experience that I had with my dentist 10 years ago, I never had the guts to go to another. Dr. Lavina explained everything in detail and carefully go through with me the possibilities and all and really set the expectations right. She has the patience to go through the details with me. The wisdom tooth removal was painless and I am so grateful to her that is it gone and ended my misery of so many years. Thank you for her professionalism and care. I was planning to travel from Australia to Malaysia on holiday and I needed an implant to replace a broken tooth so after reading good reviews of Utama Dental Clinic I contacted them. All correspondence was prompt and they answered all my questions clearly. As this gave me confidence and the cost was about a third of what it would be in Australia I decided to go ahead.The clinic is about half an hour from central KL on the metro and about 8 mins walk from Surian station in a very pleasant area.Dr Ahmed was great - very professional and thorough and took a great deal of time to explain the procedure which also included a sinal lift. All the other staff were friendly and helpful too. The surgery is modern/high tech and included all of the equipment to perform the required CBCT scans.The operation itself has been a great success with almost no discomfort and no swelling or bleeding. I need to come back after healing in 6 to 12 months for the crown. Still miles ahead cost wise and another holiday in KL which I loved."

I had the best possible treatment from Utama dental team I had 7 implants old painless with little discomfort and now for the first time in my life I have a normal set of teeth. I could not be more grateful to Utama Dental. They were kind and considerate and a friendly team. The cost was a fraction of what it would have cost me in Australia. I was told in Australia it may not be possible to do but team Ultama made it possible and it is still an excellent job 3 years later. Old front teeth have been perfected too. Yay fabulous work.

I had a Wisdom tooth removal with Dr Lavina on 7/4/2019. It was the fastest and the most painless extraction i ever encounter! 9mins is a record! A job well done indeed. The staff is super nice and they always smile. A very welcoming place for those who are scared of dentist. Dr Lavina also give me an explanation after the post surgery how to take care of it. I have been suffering from couple of dental issues. Dental Utama with a team of dedicated and cheerful Drs, assistants and administrators, made my life easier with solutions and flexibilities in setting apts. Dr Lavina who took up my case, did an awesome job in explaining my conditions between root canal, extraction, bridging, implant based on my dental conditions. The time spent in explaining the pros and cons is admirable where i could make an informed decision. She did an excellent job on my troubled wisdom tooth extraction with no issues, in fact it was done after attempting possibility of saving the tooth with a 2nd opinion by their root canal specialist , Dr Sara. Dr Lavina really ensured that I am mentally prepared...and throughout the process, she treated me with utmost care and comfort, just like a mom preparing for delivery and you have the best gynae next to you..well for some it could be after all just a tooth, but it was otherwise with her. As for post operative care, she was so serious about the do's and don'ts equally how important it us for a complete healing. She went on repeating so that i don't forget and to make sure all the $$$ I spent is kept worthwhile. I received call couple of days later from the staff if i am doing well on my recovery too. Kudos to Dr Lavina and her well trained assistants.My other experience was my daughter who had her braces done in Dental Utama with her 2 years care under Dr Ahmad, Dr Lavina. I had 2 implants by Dr Ahmad R on 21/12/2017. I had terrible pain on both implants thus I visited him again on numerous times and I was assured repeatedly that both implants are fine and it’s normal to have pain. Finally after a few visits and repeated phone calls Dr Ahmad decided to cut open my upper implant to check on 28/12/17 and removed my earlier implant replaced with a shorter but wider implants. However my pain never subsided and after a few more visits I was again reassured I was in a good shape and was denied for an X-ray to check both implants as Dr Ahmad said it’s wasn’t necessary. Finally on the 8/1/18 as I was still in pain and noticed I have pus from both my implants Dr Ahmad again told me it's fine and it's just some superficial infections due to food particles stuck on my healing gums. He merely just squeezed out the pus and told me to proceed with my 10 days overseas trip without any worries. On the 9/1/18 I decided to have a second opinion as I was still having pain and pus on my gums. The Dental Surgeon was surprised to see the extend of my infections on both my gums. He did a Ct scan and x-ray and both shows clearly I am having acute infections and both implants are failing. I went to Dr Ahmad immediately and he again reassured me it's all good but after he did and x-ray, he only agrees then it has failed and requested to have it both removed however I insisted to have it removed by my new dental surgeon. Having looked at reviews from previous patients, we decided to go ahead and do my implants at this clinic. Dr Ahmed was awesome. Gentle and really skilled. Balance part of the implants are pending but what has been done so far gets 6 stars from me. Hopefully the rest will also be as good.The staff are friendly and it’s a great experience. Very professional.We even did some fillings and scaling. I'm a traveller from Belgium and needed a regular check up since I haven't been to the dentist in a while. I found this adress on google, the reviews were good so decided to make an appointment. I was treated by dr. Lavina Kumar. She was extremely kind and helpful and did a clean-up. Some spaces between my teeth have occured since I had my braces, and I was looking for a good solution to prevent this problem. I'm on a low budget and dr Lavina understood this completely, helped me out and took time to explain pro's and cons of every solution and discussed all the prices. She was so nice and kind, she really knows what she's doing and after our talk I felt so relieved, I'm happy I found a reliable solution for my shoved teeth and went home with a good feeling since dr. Lavina was so kind. She made my day.The dental equipment looked very clean and well maintained, Lavina & her assistants were very professional.The retainer for my teeth was made after less than an hour, because she knew I was short time. I just finished my treatment at this clinic, had a few implants put in aftre losing some teeth in an accident. The staff there was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions and always ready to help. Dr. Ahmad explained my treatment to me in detail and made sure I understood and was comfortable. My overall experience was very good. I will definitely recommend and go back there for any other treatment.

HelloI had 6 top molar crowns and a bottom front multi toothed bridge put in by Dr.Muzamir. I decided to have dental treatment here based on glowing internet review. Turned out to be nightmare and cursed myself for being stupid. I have no high regard to the dental work. One needs a knowledgable dentist not merely nice person. So please shop around . I am sure there are plenty good dentists elsewhere.

Let me start by saying that the team at Utama Dental was very helpful and friendly. I got in contact with them via email, their response was swift and informative. During my initial consultation, Dr.Ahmad explained the whole procedure to me clearly. I have never been very fond of dentists, but if need be I would definitely visit Dr.Ahmad again, because he put my mind to such ease! My treatment took nearly a year as there was ALOT of work to be done. The manager was very clear with the fees that I needed to pay. Throughout my treatment, I can gladly say that there were no hidden payments. The only downside to my whole experience was the parking, but I suppose that can't be helped. All in all, Utama Dental Surgery is well equipped as it has an in house lab and a terrific team. I will definitely be recommending Utama Dental to peers and family.

Highly recommend this practice. Dr Ahmed is an implant specialist - I had one implant fitted 1 year ago and my wife's had 5, plus a bridge and crowns. All are good and we are very happy. Cost is about a third of the price of treatment in Australia and KL is a great place for a holiday with excellent hotels at most reasonable prices.The english speaking clinic staff are most helpful and friendly - can contact by e-mail to book an appointment. Dr Ahmed is most friendly and approachable and will clearly explain the procedure prior to doing any work. The clinic has undergone a recent refurbishment and is modern and welcoming, despite the view from outside. Taxis back to the city can be a problem, but the clinic can organize transportation if given notice. The new monorail, due for completion late 2016 will provide easy transportation to / from the city or airport.In short, well worth the trip to Malaysia for quality, reasonably priced dental work.
